lol more like.....The G.O.A.T punched a key role player he challenged daily vs. a pouty superstar, upset with his current situation, getting testy with an unproven overseas player trying to earn his keep - one resulted in a championship the other most definitely will not (unfortunately)

    MPJ > Murray.

Murray is who everyone that hates on Herro thinks Herro is. I don't want either to be honest but Murray has a bigger resume of being a 20PPG scorer and borderline Allstar seems like his career. He had a very good run but would be a huge risk. 18 PPG vs 36 PPG from Harden. Murray is a scorer. That's his skill. Ben Simmons is a playmaker who averages 2 less PPG. Murray is an average 3P shooter, similar numbers to Eric Gordon every year except last. Everyone saw him put up big numbers on television but don't watch him throughout the year. He scored under 20 Points 7 times during their playoff run. That's playing next to a much better player in Jokic.

    MPJ, Barton, Harris, 3 FRP.

That's a package that could top Simmons, Thybulle and 2 FRP depending on the protections from each team. Depends on how you view the teams. MPJ has MVP talent just like Simmons. He's on a rookie deal. You would need a stringent evaluation on his back.

    I disagree. It's just a story.

The elephant in the room has been there since before training camp started. It's no secret. Every player that has been interviewed has acknowledged it and they seem fine just moving forward with whatever happens. I doubt Harden is screaming at practice, "Trade Me Fertitta!!" and causing the type of disruption that Jimmy Butler was causing.

We have a couple of players that want to redeem their career and they seemed focus on doing so. You have a new coach that has a ton of patience and is not afraid to deal with whatever he is dealing with. Then you have veterans on the team that are trying to redeem themselves from last year. Everybody seems to have a playoff hopes. James seems to have championship aspirations by stating he wants to be a top three seed. If you ask me, everyone seems to be focus and locked in for the season. James has an obvious trade desire, but he seems to understand that it is currently out of his control.

I don't but I would give up Harden and a 1st rd pick for Murray. He is that good and only going to get better. He's better are more clutch than any player Pels received for AD.

The good news is that if Harden keeps doing this then we might be able to bring back Gerald with all the savings

nah, actually, i'd rather believe ego n wood sitting on the fence to stay neutral
judging by the one n only interview clip, i believe wood definitely is a nice guy, i luv him...it's quite interesting that he takes some resemblance of young Juwan Howard

There is sensationalism in there for sure however I doubt every young player automatically views Harden as role model after what he pulled at the strip clubs.

I could see some heated debates.

I mean, if it's a change in behavior for Harden due to the stress of his trade request and if his teammates resent him for it, then this is a story worth telling. We'll see what it does to their play.

I would suggest Harden talk to some sort of therapist or mentor on how to handle the scrutiny and criticism that he will be barraged with on the daily probably for the rest of his career. This type of stuff could destroy a man. Especially if his stoicism is a facade.

Because they don't want to give up Murray but you won't find a better replacement for Harden. Simmons, Herro, etc.., can't touch Murray as a franchise centerpiece. Only other young player out there would be Mitchell but like Murray those teams will never give them up. That's why you add in the pick. No rebuild required, you get the either Murray or Mitchell who will lead the NBA in the next 10 years. Both young, clutch, proven winners already!

None of the trade rumors are good, NOT one... Not Simmons, not Siakam..... Def not Brooklyn or Miami... All our trade partners actually value their players and people here will fall in love with anything they have seen a highlight of. Every single player that has been thrown around for Harden has a major flaw, not that Harden does not but man Harden has improved so much on defense that he is in my opinion one of the most complete and well rounded players in the league. An absolute unit that can score like no one and some clutchfans want w/e for him.

Its not a distraction on the locker room because those in the locker room was actually there for this "incident" and know from first hand that it is BS.
