on top of all that which u do a great job articulating on a secondary note brown would be someone the organization loves. Unselfish, humble, relatable and the total opposite of a diva. Great in the community and has real humility. Just a great person to represent the rockets, it’s fan’s and represent your city.

now not of that matters sadly in a harden trade if the return can’t play. He can. So if somehow he ends up in the trade you guys are getting a player with a lot of upside and a great person for your organization who is the polar opposite of needy or unprofessional

Don’t I know it. He’s always been hell to deal with. It would be a real test for Stone, that’s for sure.

That is the best offer so far

I don’t think they would offer any future picks because they are much younger

You haven’t watched Browns game then. He’s worked himself into a upper quartile catch and shoot player with a corner 3 > 40%. He’s a serviceable cutter in addition to being a floor spacer on the corner. His handles are what has been the most impressive though. He’s become serviceable as a secondary initiator. But when I say initiator he cannot make complicated reads and kicks. He however has a tight enough handle to get to the rim, step back, open up his midrange game. It’s very encouraging how much tighter his handles are. A lot of his downside is the fact that he cannot be a lead initiator or a creator at this time. The game is still too fast for him to hit the second leve decision making. He also isn’t the best team defender/disrupt or just yet. But with how hard he works and how much tape he seems to watch I think he’ll quickly figure that side of the ball out. If you can swing a trade for brown and smart, you’ve filled a lot of roles on the team already with your possibly elite pick/roll-pop-rim protector. Your secondary ball handler with serviceable shot/backcourt switchable all defender in smart. Your competent catch and shoot iso able/stud wing in brown. Lead initiator in wall. You’d just be hoping to hit on a trade that nets you an all star bucket getter. Someone who can handle the half court pick and roll and score on all three levels. A guy like Levine/levert/Ingram and you may have something working here

the Celtics also have a large trade exception which would help make a trade easier if it’s a 4 for 1 etc

That trade exception can absorb Gordon salary, lol.

I think the only trade you can make is one where Harden gives another team a chance to go to the championships this season. The Rockets get a player who can go to the championship in the next two to three seasons. The only players in that camp are Simmons and LaVine.

Then the question becomes do you want 2 years of LaVine or 5 years of Simmons?

I'll take Simmons and work on his shot. He's young and can play multiple positions.

Like Silas, I'd rather keep Harden.

You say this with confidence, like it's an axiom.

    LOL

You really should have quit while you were behind.

Looks like Mr. Granato has been exposed and outed as a Harden HATER. Here is a short video from YouTube by John Granato and Lance Zierlein from a week ago

btw this whole video is cringe. it’s less than 6 minutes long and it’s quite sad and pathetic to watch John look as foolish as he does just because he’s so desperately trying to win an argument that’s unwinnable

I would get Jaylen B, Romeo Langford, Thesis, 2 FRP. That is a nice deal for both parties.

Really? Especially when their two centerpieces are growing young pups in the NBA still not anywhere close to their prime? I see why Celtics fans are exited. Tatum and Brown are genuine reasons to be exited about the future.

Ya but you try prying more they just say nope. I mean they could throw in Smart as well, of course you ask. but they probably ask for tucker.

Ainge would want to Stack Harden around Tat and Walker, thats there 2 stars.

Just say no to anything less than Brown, Smart and Theis plus two first rounders for Harden. I don't want to trade Harden for anything right now, honestly. I'm just saying how I would negotiate.
