Jaylen Brown is what James Harden was 8 years ago - minus the passing, but with more experience. Already a 20 ppg guy - with a teammate like Wall spoon feeding him easy looks no reason why he couldn’t continue that arc. He is the best return and I value him higher than Simmons. Nobody will be what Harden was, but to get 2/3 of that offensive player would be a win when you take into account Brown is a better defender than Harden in their year 5 season+.

Throw Wood into that mix and it sounds like fun basketball.

I don't think you can even call Siakam a prospect at this point, he's about to turn 27 and does look like a guy who already peaked.

He is listed to turn 27 during the season and while I would normally agree, Siakam might be a late bloomer, he could get a tad better.

Those African guys always there for a surprise.

The Raptors have overachieved and it would be time for a change of scenery.

I think Lowry also got better when he was 28.

That's not certain at all imo, Boston has more players and asset then Toronto, Toronto literally has Siakam, OG (expiring) and picks, they move those and they're done, they don't have prospects under control for years left. The Celtics have Brown, Kemba, Smart, picks, Grant WIlliams, Carsen Edwards, Robert Williams, Langford, Nesmith...all these guys are locked on 3/4 years and cheap, some have good uspide, some should be at least solid bench guys, but still, you can see what i'm saying, they also have a huge tpe which gives them more flexibility to add a big piece if needed.

Brandon Ingram might have more potential than Jaylen Brown tbh.

Not my point. I don’t even want him in the first place. The whole story by this espn radio host doesn’t even seem logical.

I mean, everything is possible, i don't think Siakam got better the last season in comparison to the previous one, i mean, he had more points cause Kawhi left, but his game overall didn't look better at all to me.

Brown is a good centerpiece to build a trade around, he could be the face of the Rockets franchise for the next decade. Of course there needs to be more, but you could do much worse.

Yep, but that's expected when you trade Harden...the only thing we can do is get the best deal possible and try to find the next Harden in the draft or free agency.

I don’t know the whole situation and we don’t know who is in this package but if core players are given away (smart, brown, kemba) etc that changes the team drastically so if harden agrees or Danny ainge agrees they would be banking on the coat tails of harden and Tatum and filling in the pieces later? How would harden and kemba even work unless they move him to a third team. We will see I suppose. Smh

I dont think that works salary wise as Kemba makes like 30M a year and Brown makes 20M a year. Itd also be dumb for the Rox to commit to 30 yr old Kemba they should be resetting their window of contention.

I said it before Id do Brown+Smart even if it means no picks. We dont need picks since Smart is 28, Wood is 25 and Brown is 24. We young enough just use 2nd rounders for depth or w/e.
