That’s an extremely optimistic comparison and outlook, IMO. I just don’t see anything even remotely close to that potential offensively. I understand you have to take chances sometimes and roll the dice on up-and-coming players. I’ve also seen this board needlessly work themselves up over the Otto Porter’s of the world, too, that simply don’t have “it”.

I'd rather have Herro over Hield. And I really really do not want to trade Harden. Especially for role players. Trades with ZERO All Star in return is nauseatingly irresponsible.
You'd think even James would want the team to upgrade by doing that. Trade Eric Gordon and the 5 1st rounders we've gotten in the last few weeks for the best player available. I would hope their would be some good players to be had for that many firsts.

Ok....show me a deal where you get more than a proven 20ppg scorer (Hield), two 40% three point snipers with size (Robinson & Bjelica), a 25 yr old backup PG that was just in the NBA finals (Nunn), and 3 first round picks. Show me something better and I'm with you. We get all that for an immature guy that wants to leave, a disgruntled 35 yr old limited player, and Mr. Bubblesex. I don't want Ben Simmons. Still scared to shoot a jump shot after 4 years. I'm not interested. How do you play Silas's 5-out offense with a guy that is useless from the outside? And, I personally think Herro is overrated. Just my opinion.
