Dwight was good for 1 of 3 seasons. CP3 good for 1 of 2. Westbrook was good for a portion of his 1 season and terrible in the playoffs. At no point of time did Harden consistently have the same level of help CONSISTENTLY like Curry had for much of his time with Warriors (at least under Kerr and slightly before).

My guy you are delusional. Howard was considered "washed" when he left the Lakers for us. He had a solid 1st season. Then 14-15 missed most of the year with injury, before returning for playoffs, only to get injured again on fluke play game 1 of WCF. In CP3 prime he was 20 n 10. He couldn't give us that plus because of age had to miss a quarter of the season each year, and when we needed him the most unfortunately he was unavailable 2018, during his best year with us. Westbrook was good for like 2 or 3 months all year. In the playoffs he was just not good.

Whoever is feeding Woj, its not Morey. Morey keeps shutting Woj down right after each Woj bomb.

    Stone is getting schooled.

How is Stone being schooled if Morey has to come out and make statements to refute the player he has to trade to get Harden? Morey is going to be a liar or not get Harden.

Stone and Rockets organization are getting a black eye when the national media is accusing them of leaking these smear jobs aimed at Harden.

Stone's continued silence will be the death of his career as GM.

Stone needs to keep his cool and not panic. He needs to wait it out and let Harden build his value on the court and then once Harden is in better physical shape and balling like an mvp then tell politely tell Morey, unlike broke shot Simmons , Harden can actually fully utilise Embiids full potential .

Harden is a big man whisperer with his ability to help them out and fully utilise there strengths. . There has never been a better pick and roll passer to ever play the game.

Stone was dealt an absolute **** hand and he's handling it like a skilled negotiator. I'm thoroughly impressed. That quote from Harden about not talking to Stone? Yea that's on Harden. He was refusing communication. I'm not sure if he ever opened it up after that comment but he wasn't talking to Stone despite attempts to speak. This isn't inside information but something I found out through some thorough research (I'm keeping it to myself but it's a pretty solid indicator, I promise).

There is no black eye. If you call that article about Harden having control of the organization a smear job, youre mistaken. Everyone basically agreed that Harden has had full run of the organization and he is a big reason why the Rockets are in this position.

Stone doesn't have to say anything at all in the media.

Morey should have kept his mouth shut too. Now if he trades Simmons he will look like a liar. Players already said he screwed CP3 the same way even if you feel it wasn't his decision..

Simmons has been offerd that much is obvious and Morey is trying to do damage control to not have a disgruntled Simmons on his hands if an future trade goes south. Moreys biggest worry should be Simmons unstable sister on Twitter get a wind of it

Stone’s doing great. He’s waiting out and making sure the rockets get the best possible deal. The loser in all of this is Morey.

    LOL

The game is played THRU the media.

Even KOC has come out and said these Harden stories were being leaked by Rockets FO in conjunction with Klutch/Simmons camp.

You can be as naive as you like but the evidence is clearly not on your side.

Over Durant without causing issues? Durant left the Warriors in part because he wanted to spotlight.

    How is Morey the loser?

He makes 10M now (2M more than he was making with Houston).

He works for ownership that is willing to spend, not LTS mandate hampering him.

He is in position to trade for greatest scorer in NBA.

If Harden trade doesnt happen, he still has 2 young All Stars on his roster.

The real loser in all this is Rockets fandom.

Nets look ridiculous, hopefully they take themselves out of the running for Harden
