Great body control in the paint too.

I'm still baffled we almost got the guy for just the MLE. I also don't know what the Pistons were thinking letting him walk and paying $20 million more for Jerami Grant.

    They traded

    Wood (S&T) + Pistons 2021 protected 1st, two future 2nds

    for

Delon Wright and Isaiah Stewart (#16)

I guess the hope is that Stewart is really good, and that their 1st never conveys, or if it does it's a bust.

He didn't want to play for Detroit anymore but yeah you'd think they'd get more for him but they did get a #16 pick.

He does get lose sometimes, he has issues concentrating and he has some lapses on switches. He is capable of doing it, he did it most of last year well but it is something Silas and Weaver will have to get on him about to focus.

Did not see a ton of Pick and Roll from Wall in 1st 2 games. Any analysis of his pocket passing?

I hope he has the same feel and chemistry with Wood as Harden does.

But not nearly as bad as Cousins, so there is that.

Not being an ass, but there isn’t a type of pass that Wall cannot make... he will also work well with Wood because of his food speed. I don’t know if he will have as good of chemistry but it won’t be an issue because of both having strong instincts.

I want to see Wall/Harden and Wood on the floor. While there were times Harden got annoyed when Paul was so structured setting up the offense, Wall is more instinctual so I think it will be less of a problem.

Such an upgrade over Capela .... if Harfen could give this team a shot, this is the deepest roster he’s been apart of within the past 4 years

You are just taking away a whole lot of what Woods does well. You are stealing his advantage.

Wood to me seems faster than AD on offense. Defensively, however, AD is on another level. I believe C-Wood has the potential to be a better offensive player than AD.

    More like 24, 25 ppg.

Team will scout and lock in on him hence he should make it count till then.

Depends on what his bad games look like.

i do think he is best suited with Harden or Wall playing the 5.

with that said Iam curious to see how he plays with cousins.

I just think it would be cool if we had as EG put it the AD light with broke down boogie John wall (he looks the same to me) and Harden (he also looks the same)

I’d prefer harden to stay honestly but I atleast want to see those 4 on the court together playing Hard for atleast one game. Then whatever happens after that is fine by me.

I will say that if Harden does get traded for let’s say Ben Simmons I think Wood would prob avg 27/10 this year on pretty good efficiency.

I’m also not opposed to trading Harden for Ben Simmons since he’s young has proven to be an allstar and is locked up for another 4 years I think.

As someone who watched way too many Detroit games last season, I’ve been saying he’s an all star repeatedly. You guys haven’t even seen yet some of the things this guy has in his arsenal. People on here complaining because we lost Roco for him and that Roco is just sooo much better. Lmao

Right now Christian Can step in for Harden, and run the show for while they wait for offer to come in. Its really great if John Wall can kinda step in and be silent Star, Blessing in Disguise. Rockets also have another star in Demarcus, who in my opinion can be another star, as both players have been allstars in the league and great players before there injury history. If everything works around Wood, who looks like he might be exactly what the rockets need in this transition period.

It may be a blessing in disquise where Houston might not have to be a sore thumb while Harden trys to bring down such a great Organization. We are blessed to have these 3. I just really apoglize to them whats going on with this guy, and hope they can focus on Basketball threw all this Man Mess with Rockets.

With Boogie, John Wall, Christian Wood and Eric Gordon, we can afford to sit James Harden until we find a suitable Trade. We have 3 stars now who can play. Rockets might just need to fine harden and sit him for some time to get him traded, its ashame it had to end this way. Remember rockets have Eric Gordon who can come in and knock down 24 a night sometimes. James really can sit out for these games if the rockets have to let him sit to wait on a trade.
