If the Rockets can get a Young Players like Kyle Lowry, Goran Dragic, Luis Scola, Carl Landry, Aaron Brooks more 1st Rd Picks.

It would make the Season Enjoyable to watch.

You might be right. I think the interest is there, but the story lines are just driving up the price. If other teams know that Simmons is on the table, or the 76ers know the Rockets are ready and willing to trade Harden to other teams, then some of the resistance over parting with pieces/picks fall. That or this team waits, but based on Harden's demeanor and leaks that seem to be coming from his side, it just feels like the team environment will be too corrosive with him on the roster.

None of these scenarios seem like reasonable value for Harden. So often a star is traded because he’s heading into free agency or is injury prone or aging. Harden is none of these. Maximum value needs to be achieved.

I’m betting it will be a multi team trade in order to collect all the pieces the Rockets want.

I’m just ready for this to be over with, ready for the new era of rocket basketball with Wood and Simmons as the faces of the franchise.

Simmons, Maxey/Thybulle + 3 first round picks and 2 pick swaps no protections.

Riley's cockblocked us on several occasions, sometimes out of spite (Ryno cap relief, FA signings, Bosh...).

Dude better pay up and cut the bullshit if he wants a real chance.

People used to say the same thing about Kawhi. Brown has come a long way and is no longer just a 3 and D player. Just because he's surrounded by talent doesn't mean he doesn't have any. He just averaged 20ppg as the third option at 23 years old. He's not capped out, he's got plenty of room to grow.

Will he ever average 30ppg like Beal just did? I don't think so, but I don't think Beal will do it again either.

Of you trade for Simmons depending on where you play him you will need a shooter some where in there beside Wall or at the Forward spot

Yep you play it out till the deadline because by then under Silas and the current offense , Hardens value will be way higher then what it is now and then you go back to testing the market and only if Harden still wants out

Sports illustrated just ranked harden the 4th best player in basketball in their latest rankings. Value went up by two first rounders

Not seeing how this roster plays together would be the biggest championship rob since CP3’s hamstring.

    Woj:
    • More conversations, more traction with more teams here in last several days
    • Rockets are working with Harden
    • Really hard for Houston to do a Sixers deal without Simmons
    • Sixers careful about putting him in a deal that won’t get them back more than Harden
    • If Simmons was in a deal, it’d have to be more than Harden; not sure that’s how Houston feels; they’d like Simmons plus more assets; those two teams aren’t close
    • Doc Rivers is hesitant about breaking up Simmons/Embiid; Morey has qualms about it without getting back more than Harden
    • I certainly don’t think they’re trading Simmons in a deal that looks like it’s straight up with some picks for Harden. They want a lot more than Harden. That might not be a deal that’s available to the Sixers and right now, you’ll see them continue with Embiid/Simmons

basically if they are serious it’s if we put Simmons on the market today, would the return fetch a better package than a 31 yr old harden
