He looked scared the 1st time he did it. Or perhaps proper term is " out of his depth". Stone was certainly not smooth his first official media day as GM.

Having Silas respond on media day with non-answers ad nauseum, no official Rockets statements for any of the FO leaked media narratives (Harden late to TC, Harden requesting trade to Nets, Harden prefers Wall over Russ, Harden expanding teams willing to be traded to, PJ not happy - unwanted, PJ saying Rockets not saying anything about his requested extension, etc.).

If anything, Stone being silent is either actively behind Harden's value plummeting or purposefully allowing it to free fall for organization's "benefit".

my main point tho is that a ton of fans would be mad and b*tching at Harden, just for different reasons, if he had been out here doing 1+1 deals

 

I can't speak for all fans, but I'm mad because he hasn't been transparent or honest. I don't have a problem with his line of thinking and I understand why he would be disappointed with the direction of the franchise. But he is handling it in a very immature and unprofessional way - he wants to have his cake, eat it too, and never answer for it to anyone.

 

Any details or clarity with that last note, TF did not back team in the bubble?

Im questioning this because Feigen is usually consistent. But look at the way he's trying to frame this conversation, "oh Daryl and Mike are gone, well Tad Brown is still here." Harden has never been told no but hey we dont spend on the luxury tax or MLE. Tillman isnt involved, yet the dude goes on TV and says "I forced the Westbrook trade." Im posting this way because we are losing our head coach, our gm, and Harden all in one season. And that is not normal. Daryl Morey quit abruptly and that is not normal. They say the coaching candidates knew about that during the interviewing process......and THAT was not show to be true.

And now there is a narrative out there that yea of course Daryl quit on the Rockets and the Harden had already asked out. When there are reports by the Athletic that Harden asked out as soon as Silas was hired?

So Im struggling here to see the truth about what these guys are saying. Cause they dont talk about ownership at all.

There’s nothing false about that. You can still prefer to play with wall while you’re still here and at the same time prefer to be traded. Which by all accounts he still does. Both can be true. Woj wasn’t wrong

Doc isnt exactly a shining example of a coach who achieved success. They practiced even less than the Rockets since they are Team REST.

Lakers dont have shoot arounds but they are spearheaded by Lebron and AD, two of the best players on the planet. The rest are like supporting casts around them and play a tertiary role on whether they win a title or not. IIRC they really only needed AD, Bron and Rondo to play at a high level to win a title this year. In fact a lot of players were disappointments Dwight+Mcgee never saw pt after 1st round, Morris sucked, KCP was meh, Waiters was a no show and Kuzma was disappointing.

Rox were different cuz everyone needed to chuck 3 pt bombs like no tom not just Harden and Russ we needed Tucker, Rivers, EG, RoCo etc all these guys needed to hit their shots otherwise the Rox shoot 29% from 3 and get destroyed. They needed practice shooting and lots of it.

 

But when has Feigen ever lied about something? So again I ask: First time?

 

When he said Tillman Fertitta isnt really involved with the Rockets.
