Same here. I'm not one to beg people to stay.

Harden is the most hated NBA superstar in the entire country outside of Houston and maybe Arizona. To disrespect us as fans by using emojis and tanking his value after we've defended, supported and cheered for the guy no matter how many times he fails miserably in the postseason is a sign of complete arrogance.

It's kinda like "Who do you prefer: Chuck Hayes or T-Mac?"
    Chuck Hayes.

If you are were willing to make him the highest paid player per annual salary then obviously either the cons were not as big as made out to be or his pros far out weight the negatives.

I want him to stay but if he isn’t going to buy in, then yeah I’d rather rip the bandaid off now and start the rebuild right away. Takes 10 years to build a contender unless a superstar fails in your lap, so the sooner the better

it often takes longer than that...Kings haven’t been considered a contender since like 2003...Wolves since 2004...Suns since 2010...Hornets since forever...if KD is close to what he was, Nets might be considered a contender for the 1st time since around 2003...when Milwaukee made it to the ECF in 2019, it was their 1st time since 2001...I can go on and on

we won just 1 playoff series in 17 years until Harden’s 14-15 season

I foresee struggle and pain post-Harden

It is cool that everyone is coming to peace with trading Harden.

I hope everyone is cool with him being here for awhile and possibly a long time.

Between Harden reporting late, the Rockets leaking half truths and being vindictive, and teams digging their heels is...... right now the Rockets are not getting anything close to what they want for Harden, in fact they are looking at getting less than what Holiday fetched......

Right now the Rockets cannot even deal Harden to the Sixers for Simmons..... because teams know they can wait it out and keep lowering his price.

Harden isn't going to the Nets.......... Morey knows he can bleed the Rockets and isn't making a deal for anything close to what the Rockets want...... Riley smells blood and everything is in a holding pattern.

Harden was stupid to not hire an agent when he decided he wanted out, and he was stupid to be defiant in the way he was......

The Rockets owner and front office were utterly incompetent in a number of ways and have only HURT the return they will get.

So Harden and Silas (because apparently Stone is afraid to speak to Harden) need to meet and figure this stuff out for at least this season..... Harden needs to talk to the players individually and they need to take another run at it.

Next time James don't sign a 4 year deal.........

Next time Rockets don't spread half truth tales belittling your star players because you are butt hurt and your organization is falling apart....

I think most of us feel that way now.

He has given us a lot but after all they given him, the org, the team and fans, he still hasn’t mature. He won’t win a chip until he matures, he isn’t the main guy with and with other superstars or gets one like Dwight as a bench player on a contender or favorite to win team.

Most of us just want the org and the team to get the best deal. So we can move from this ordeal and look ahead.

btw I’m glad Morey left too, a lot of it was his fault as well.

James Harden had too much power in Houston, and he abused it

While I have stated that I don't know what to believe, I do find what's being said here believable.

    Good post, fade.

Considering James SHOULD have 3-4 MVP's and a ring, he's solidly in that next group.
