not sure if he lied, without looking at everything he said, but he knew he was supposed to spend the week before training camp in market and self isolate outside of pertinent trips. If he was going to disregard league protocol, then yes, he should have notified his boss he was leaving town if it was just no-biggie trip.
Let's not jump to conclusions. It is possible Stone, Silas, etc. reached out to James early on when they were promoted/hired and James never returned their calls purposefully to show his displeasure about something. If Stone truly hasn't reached out then that is ridiculous and that may be possible but that is not exactly what the question was to Harden. I do wonder if they went about their Free Agency plans without Harden's input and that is what pissed him off though? Once the Covington trade went down maybe Harden made his trade demand after that? Maybe he didn't care what we did after that since he wasn't consulted on any of it after Morey would talk to Harden about every transaction it seems. Who knows.
That maybe, but even as a common courtesy call he should have atleast reached out.As a new leader or sheriff in town you need to have communication before you start laying the new boundaries. If you don’t have communication even at the bare minimum it creates confusion. As for managing different personalities ? I’ve been around a lot different characters for the last 20 odd years of my life. Not everyone is the same and you have to understand and approach them differently to get the absolute best out of them.

Not masking up is a valid gripe. He said he would be here soon!! What does he need to do - fill out an authorization form? Stone isnt even on speaking terms with the guy and some think that is OK!?!? Those attitudes may work in entry level sales meetings and middle management luncheons, but it doesnt fly in the NBA and stars in many corporations and high leverage performers ALWAYS have fringe benefits and allowances above the average employee.
