Harden needs a elite shooter next to him.... or a person elite not in the backcourt to succeed.

    I sincerely believe that.

Having said that. I think they can make it work. It’s too early.

Have joking , half serious. If they can make it work, a little of this may not be too bad. A way to conserve energy.

I honestly hope Wall can run the offense 80% of how CP did it. He seems more WB than CP at times. Maybe it'll change when Wood gets back

It was 1 game in which Harden hadn’t played in since October. The only thing I saw that was a bit concerning was Harden’s unwillingness to move without the ball. If Silas system is going to work and include James than James is going to HAVE to adapt a learn how to play basketball.

Wall is average shooter. And he doesn't need 100% closeout to open up his blowby game. If someone leaves him wide open he will more likely make the shot, if he is closed out even half assed with his handle and speed he just puts the ball on the floor and collapses defense. I didn't see that with Russ where they were leaving him WIDE OPEN daring to shoot. And even after penetration he went brute force without making actual basketball play

Foolish. It literally didn’t matter what he did you were going to this.

Fact of the matter is he was running on fast breaks without the ball. He was letting the team dribble up the court instead of doing 100% of the work. He was receiving catch and shoot opportunities.

Can we at least give them a few games in the regular season before we make a final judgement?

Idk what Clutchfans is so worried about in Wall. If he's healthy he's about as seamless a fit you can get at the PG position for Beard.

People aren't going to leave Wall wide open like they did Russ because he will actually make it. Right now he seems to be struggling with pull up jump shots, especially moving to the left or right. His set shots are much better. I think this is partly because of the rigor of training camp. They've literally been playing basketball every single day since training camp started, so once the regular season starts and they get more rest between games we'll see what his shooting turns out to be. Either way it can't be worse than Westbrook shooting.
