This better not be from his 9 year old brother.

Man the options are not all that great. I like Siakam a lot, I just don't like Siakam for Harden. Siakam at this point to me seems like a glorified super role player that just happens to have an incredibly good system built around him. He isn't that good.

    No thanks to Toronto.

Siakam as your rebuild cornerstone player?

Siakam also fell off big time when teams adjusted to him like they would guard an all star. His offensive arsenal is limited. You can take him out of a game to easily. Out of all the offers I would probaly lean towards Simmons but the issue is he isn’t available

siakam is going to be 27 this season. by the time wall is officially not in the long term plans hes going to be 30. It's definitely relevant to the discussion because where exactly is the future in this scenario.

Lol, so what? U think they’re just gonna trade John Wall this deadline? At the end of the day, your centerpiece will be Siakam, and that has y’all giddy.

What you just said about Pascal is the same for Simmons though.

    Damn right.
People keep bringing him up like he's young. He's already in his prime while Herro is what 20?21?

I agree, but in general i want someone young enough to build around, Siakam at 27 and already on a max isn't that guy, like i said, you get Siakam and settle with him and Wall on max contracts for three years, we'll turn into one of those teams that fight for the 8th seed year after year and end up gifting OKC potential lottery picks in the 2024/27 years, that's literally what we should avoid in the first place, not settling for mediocrity.

Noway, Simmons is an elite passer/playmaker and a better overall defender

exactly. siakam is the type of player you add to harden when you're trying to win right now. Because he's precisely at the right age and stage of his career. tbh I don't even think people realized hes going to be 27 this season. But if you're talking about a future rebuild which is the case without harden, years down the road nah pass. My concern is far pass just 2-3 years

Still a lesser offensive player than Siakam. Might be a better overall player

OG is also expiring fwiw, you might end up overpaying him something he's isn't even worth.

Siakam is starting a 4 year deal at basically age 27

John Wall will definitely be here for this season. He could easily be here for all of next season as well. That’s at least 2 years before he’s gone, and then u can start “building around” 29 year old Siakam with 2 years left on his big money deal...and that’s likely best case scenario

    lmao, how exciting

Don’t know about much, Simmons is just too bad offensively. He is a better overall player for sure. The problem is on this team he’s still going to be a complimentary piece.

With the Warriors, Wiseman+Wiggins+picks has already been floated and I don't think anyone cares for that.
But has Wiseman+Klay+picks been discussed? (just searched and found 1 thread without traction). I guess that ain't great either.
    So far we have:
    Simmons +...
    Herro + Duncan +...
    Siakam +
    Wiseman + Thompsan/Wiggins +

Ugh, nothing really that exciting personally, but if the Rockets took Klay, they could be the all injury team, lol.
