Does he really have a choice? He has no leverage no matter what the media says. He can sit out and ruin his career.
That could be it OR he doesn't think that trade happens so he's sticking with "he likes his guys". We really don't know anything. These guys got a whole fan base going through the motions one day to the next.

The Chronicle had a quote that Silas plans to play Harden on Tuesday. I'm not asking for much. Just for Harden to drop like 50 on a perfect 10/10 from 3 in like 12 minutes of play, kick the ball into the stands and not come back out after halftime.
Every time SIles speaks, I'm impressed. Love that we hired him. Dude is young, down to earth, has a lot of experience in the NBA, just a great guy seems, and as a bonus he might be a really good coach...we'll see

Why do you assume we would get less? If anything we will get more - he asked for a trade after teams were unable to make something work realistically speaking. AD asked for a trade during the season and the Lakers started getting pieces together to make it work - if a team wants him, and we know they do, they'll start getting the pieces together and make it happen because like someone else said...these offers are TRASH and not acceptable.
More like bench him altogether because if you do that he's going to be trash in the minutes he plays off the bench and we will beat the Thunder without him. This is what I think SHOULD happen although almost zero chance it will. I personally think Silas should send a message saying "I don't care how things have been ran around here in the past but moving forward if you aren't about the TEAM then you're in the wrong building" and start someone who showed up on time unlike him...IDK maybe someone like Gerald Green who talks about playing for the name on the FRONT of his jersey not just the back? Seems like a reasonable idea to me but what do I know.

Shams reported harden is interested in Miami, Bucks,Philly and Brooklyn. Bucks and Brooklyn will never eventuate so it’s between those two unless a sleeper teams comes in at the 11th hour
It seems like ages ago but Shams also reported that Harden was "locked in" and remains committed to the Rockets this season. it's been a roller coaster ride with all these "reports"
