The need to replace walt, cato, late season pickup and trade one of the rookies for dept.If shandon can be signed at fair salary for him and the team, keep him ,sign mo taylor, pass on webber.I think the only difference in the two is about 3 more rebounds and about 2 steal a game for webber ,we can live with that and not morgage our future away. Don't forget we almost blew the farm on scotty! Boy life would really suck stuck with scotty and cato and no cap room.Draft shane or rodney white and haywood and resign dream. That way we steal have shopping money for some quality free agents

Most of what you propose is not feasible.

No. Add two rebounds to Taylor's totals and you barely get Steve Francis' rebounding numbers, not Webber's. How about we double Taylor's output and then you're close to Webber's rebounding totals.

Of course, you'd also be losing scoring too.

Cold... but at a quarter till ten, and the effects of drowsiness from blood loss to over 100 million mosquitos in houston,
it made me laugh my assets off.

Rockets only need a few changes to challenge

I've seen many posters state this. If it is true, then how many 'changes' do the Spurs need to make? the Kings? 76ers? Bucks?

Hello, we didn't even make the playoffs. In reality we will not challenge for the championship next year, no matter what we do. I think if things go our way we can improve the makeup of the team and contend for a 4 to 6 playoff seed. Maybe we'll have some success in the playoffs, maybe not, but championship rings are hard to come by.

Dreams not injured we would have been in .i know excuses are n/a but i feel the rockets would have finnished strong.and about how many posts someone has don't mean nada,a person could have a million posts and only five are worth reading.i never read a thread because the poster had a lot of posts, only the substance of the post interests me.

Number1withabullet came up with a couple of ideas, though they may not ALL be reasonably possible, he's just carving out some scenarios that he'd like to see. Nothing wrong with that.

Dreamer,if have to disagree with you on the whole possibility of a real challenge. In a way I see where your coming from, seeing powerhouses such as the Spurs and Sixers being manhandled by the Lakers, and seeing the futility of another teams chances against this monster in the west. But you must remeber, basketball is a game of match-ups, and good dose of marksmen, two shake n' bake artists, and a Rudy helter skelter zone defense, may be just the potion you need for that pessimistic attitude of yours. Though you claim not to care about the number of posts someone has, something gives me the feeling that you are trying to pad your numbers.
