Pat give us a call later today baby. I’ll have more dribbles and step backs in Miami than you have ever seen by the end of the week.

Gallo now ending up in Atl, leaves the trade with sga and picks. by now okc has acquired so many future picks outside of the pg13 deal it's basically become redundant

But they got value out of Galli while he was there, and absent the rebuild, you never know.

The point is it had value, and that there is no way a Herro deal will return what PG did for OKC.

Just is what it is, so in some ways why even compare... but that was my point.

for a year sure. okc probably had fun watching them last year. but now that part is over.

you compare because that's a similar structure to what harden may very well net. that was my point

Call me crazy, but I'd take Tyler Herro over Ben Simmons. I'll also take Duncan Robinson, and all the picks.

I'd like to revisit this in a few years.

I'm not so sure it is this cut and dry. Herro has had multiple playoff performances as a 20 year old that I find more impressive than Simmons. Pick and roll, euro steps, bank shots, pull-up middies, off-ball movement threes, fadeaways... YOU NAME IT.

Yeah but my concern is when teams lock in on him.

Watching him play some point guard in the playoffs using the pick and roll, so damn intriguing. The NBA is trending in his direction. He often looks like a bizarro mix of Steph Curry and Luka Doncic.

Truth be told, I want Silas to have HIS GUY and I feel like Tyler Herro at 20 years old would be really special under his tutelage.

It's a risk, but god damn does he have a diverse toolbox on offense.

Silas has experience with Steph and Luka, and that's the direction I'd love to see someone take Herro.

and it's not like he's coming from a shitty organization either. the foundation and principles hes building are obviously positive from what hes around on a daily basis. The people that really took the time or actually follow this guy enough fully appreciate where this significantly high upside talk is coming from. Instead of all these nonsense stereotype claims.

James Harden is arguably the best player in the nba the last 3 or 4 seasons...Any trade needs to be centered around Herro AND Bam. No talks without them. Harden has 2 seasons locked up. The Heat are not going to win a ship with Aging knee Butler and a bunch of young players. They want to win now.

They can keep Nunn and draft picks...but Herro + BAM to start.
PJ can be added to bring back Duncan and possibly Nunn.

You won’t get an argument from me that Tyler Herro has a more diverse offensive repertoire than Ben Simmons. However, that’s only one part of the equation. Simmons is an elite defender and playmaker that can effectively run an NBA offense as a primary facilitator; Herro has not yet proven he can be an elite defender or the primary facilitator of an effective NBA offense.

Tyler Herro very well could build on his bubble performance and grow as a playmaker to the point where he surpasses Ben Simmons as a player. As of today, if I were building a team from scratch, I would take Simmons first, no questions asked. I need to see more from Herro to change my mind.

    Lol are you 12?
the point of the Heat getting Harden is to pair them together.
The rockets would have the same problem they're having now with Harden but with Butler.
Rockets would be starting a youth movement.

Andre and Olynyk would be added to fill roster

It feels like it is. Herro is playing within a system and Simmons was the system. Herro is the type of player you pair with Simmons, not trade your franchise player for as the headlining package.
