Only recently; I disagree with you and him on lmnd, but it looks like I may be wrong on that too haha. My biggest bets are on NET and SDGR for the disruptive multi x potential vs likelihood of execution. Psychologically, have enough conviction to hold these 2 regardless of price, will only sell if I think the biz is in trouble. Pls keep sharing your trade ideas
On HBO Max I was thinking the latest moves - might eventually move at&t some, especially with their free streaming (7 day accounts ending)... I've seen mixed news so far but it might be worth watching as we approach the bigger movies coming out direct to streaming (or if Roku finally gets a contract done... Or even a Roku jump etc). I was basically trying to find contracts that haven't priced everything in, but I'd prefer longer calls so you're not trying to force something - like if I posted I'm buying expiring otm Disney calls yesterday @ 0.01 x 1000 it'd have been nice today but also silly, obviously I could be thinking wrong on at&t but basically trying to find something in addition to my normal trades
AT&T's biggest problem and worry was protecting that dividend. If they cut that dividend, people will exit. That company was so mismanaged for the longest time.
i believe that both T and DIS count the "free bundle" as a subscription, albeit no revenue. while NFLX recently increased the monthly subscription fee by $1, T and DIS offer free bundles.
That's true too I'm honestly surprised they're even where they are, how do you feel about them now? And I'm definitely not thinking long term either on these, if I hit on any contract plays I'd put them back into a company I actually like long term. I just like finding plays that can be super cheap risk/reward high percent returns and then putting back into better investments. I mean small wins consistently are better and add up, but I do like to get the occasional big win. Now that I'm discussing this more though, I'd probably be better throwing money at some SPACs hahah
I chose VZ over T a while ago simply for the reason I stated. That, and I know people that worked at AT&T headquarters here in the DFW area that said it was a circus with croneyism and buddies hiring buddies and poorly qualified people in positions. That was about 3 or 4 years ago, though. No idea what's going on there now and this was just in one of their divisions. They've always made some bizarre decisions like their Direc-TV purchase and whatever AT&T Now or whatever it's called is supposed to be. AT&T's internet around where I live has been going downhill and they have a random fiber offering, too, so I hated them for that. I think their debt situation has improved from in the past, so I don't know if I can hate them for that anymore. So I have a lot of reasons for disliking them... many of them personal reasons.
Thanks for input on this. Yeah, I definitely get where you're coming from, especially the DTV thing.... I didn't know about the whole poorly managed/hiring thing though, but it doesn't surprise me with the way things have been handled.

Thoughts on ABCL? + appreciate if anyone can link their IR deck, can't find any. Buy now or wait 6 months for lock up period to end? Wanted to see their projected numbers but does that even matter, is this a "concept" stock where traditional valuations don't apply? https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...loper-of-covid-19-treatment-triples-after-ipo
Seems promising that their covid product was approved in Canada in the US for emergency use but I have no idea how to value it. I feel this is a pure momentum play and given all the recent IPOs are super inflated, I'm staying away from such plays. It looks like Roblox is delaying their IPO till next year because of of how DASH and ABNB's IPOs went. Imo they should just ditch the underwriters and do a direct listing cuz they have enough market demand. https://markets.businessinsider.com...fter-gains-airbnb-doordash-2020-12-1029887389
Even if they direct list, the company still has to decide on a price to sell at; PLTR didn't have this problem because they were not issuing new shares, price was purely determined by what existing holders wanted to sell at.
I noticed the bounce off the trend line and the engulfing pattern on decent volume on Friday . Got back in at 212. It’s been dead money for almost 6 months but the company is still great and it seems like a good play in terms risk vs reward.

Took profits on the trashier SPAC warrants i've been holding for this low nicotine cigs company: https://seekingalpha.com/article/4393973-22nd-century-looks-set-to-finally-cash-in Also added a lot of SDGR. If it goes down, i'll have enough for my next meal, but it will be painful... DM is disappoint; still hodling.
Dumped the last of my DM. Nice win, but of course feels like a let down (definition of greed!). Going to rotate the $ into some more SPACs..looking at HAAC
