    Physically he looks fine.

Biggest thing for him will be remaining healthy. Hopefully we get okc cp3 version of wall.

My understanding of the phrase is anyone older than a certain age is on the wrong side of that age. I actually thought he was 31 but the point remains that he really only has two or three years of quality play left provided he is able to overcome his injury.

How did I know you were going to recant and be like.. well, let's see how he plays in a 7 game Finals series first before we make any assumptions.

That would put him at 32 or 33. If he doesn't have any more injury setbacks he probably has closer to 4 or 5 years of "quality play" .

Either way, your window is about Hardens age at this point. Hes young enough that if Harden stays he should be a viable pg for the duration of this window granted he stays healthy.

The biggest problem will be to sustain himself throughout the long season. Ditto for Boogie and Nwaba.

I think everyone knows an injury could end this come back and he'll have to prove his body can hold up over a season, but a lot of the doubting in this thread seemed to be eye rolling at his quote and whether he'd be back to the same level physically.

He's not faster than prime John Wall but he really does look faster than 2017-2018 John Wall.

He looks rusty but i liked his aggressiveness. One thing that still stood out to me was his shots. He still needs to learn how to shoot the ball!

This is how Westbrook started off with us coming off his injury. He will knock of the rust

You'll have to use slo-mo to watch John Wall play after his injury.

If KD, John and Boogie can all have a good season coming back off Achilles or ACL injury, then it speaks for the advancement of rehabilitation.

It is going to be something your career can survive.

All I know is I saw Wall control the ball and make a layup, and I automatically trusted him more than WB :D

Westbrook wasn’t coming off of a partial Achilles tear but I hope you are right.
