Harden probably paid lip service to Wall.

A trade would take some time, Harden intended to play with Wall before a trade, he didn't totally lie but it was a subtle 'it' s none of your business'.

we need a backup PG, clemons hasn't improved a bit and grant looks shaky

of the young kids, only mason jones looks worth keeping so far

if tate is able to develop a consistent 3 he'll be a great glue player

wall is the 2nd best floor general this team has had in decades (after cp3)

house looks like he's lost of ton of weight

caboclo showed a lot more than last season but he's still getting pushed around too much

    green is still a beast!

They were Summer league and Preseason champs as long as I can remember and that's at least 1 decade. ;)

The same dudes that be hating on moreyball, be the same ones praising Silas' offense. Open your eyes! HOU was generating points through what? It wasn't midrange.

Yeah, I noticed that as well.

Wall was hitting the 2 but I would have expected more.

Without hitting that many 3s, it's only an 8 or 9 lead win.

5out prolly means chucking 3s en masse.

Coach Silas beat a veteran coach who has a tenured lineup. We have hungry players looking to sparkle their names again. I know Wall's stats, but his speed to the basket is something I didn't know about. It went from a questionable season to a potential fruitful season.

Chat doesn't get in the way when I'm in fullscreen. If it's still there in fullscreen I haven't noticed. But it's a great, free option, doesn't lag and always in HD (for others who don't know).

And without Wood, Harden, and Tucker. Basically every guy on the floor is a 3 point threat

Yes, for the most part every player looked thin-ish and healthy.

Wall: looked like John Wall. Took a few pull up long 2’s. Wonder if organization will stress against that now that Morey
    is gone?

Ccusins: looks much thinner and in good shape. Ability to hit 3’s consistently is going to be big.

Eric Gordon: looked fit. Usually plays better without Harden/(CP3-WB). Scored 50 pts as solo act last season.
Wall did not cramp his style last night.

House: House, EG and Wall were strong plus 20’s in the +/- category for the game. Limited to 17 minutes I believe
    to see other players.

McLemore: Looked like Ben of last season. The combo of McLemore & G Green on the court at the same time would
be lights out. Defense would take a hit.......but WoW!

Gerald Green: looks like the Gerald Green we had before. I want him to make the team.

J-S Tate: looked thinner than I was expecting. He will need to get use to the size and speed of the NBA. I don’t want
to judge him by the first outing. May settle down and then look much better......or not. He made one basket from
about 4 feet away where he just catches the defenders flat footed. Weaver has faith in him......we shall see.

Nwaba: looked good defensively at times. Will improve.

Coboclo: played well. That wing-span will block shots. Finally a shot blocker, he will alter many shots as well.
He and C Wood together will create some magic times at both ends once we get this going. Only wish D’Antoni
had given Bruno more playing time last season.

Wooten: I noticed even Wooten hit a 3-pt shot.

Clemons: all of my team projections have Clemons off the roster. I can’t see him around much longer. Shooting long
3’s was a novelty; but goes by the way side as it did with Kyle Wiltjer.

Grant: I wanted this kid out of college. Great size for point guard. Won’t have to handle the ball a lot if the team has
Harden or Simmons or Giannis. The fact that he hit a 3-pointer last night was a good sign. Can it be sustained.

    Yet to be determined :
Harden, Tucker, C Wood. All would improve the team.
Sterling Brown, Wooten, Martin, Queen, Mason Jones. Need to see more of to sort out where they land.

Team / Silas never said they would cut back on shooting 3’s. Those who thought differently were mistaken.
The Centers obtained or re-signed can or will be asked to shoot 3’s. Still 5-men out plus incorporating
Silas PnR will off the ball screening. I posted Bruno highlight video last season when he came to Houston
and noted that he is actually a decent 3-pt threat. Expect that to continue.

Bulls did not know what to expect......not entirely. Expect game two to be more of a challenge. Interested in
seeing who continues to shine....or not

It sure would be nice if we could add a player that excels in isolation....

Who was running the offense though? That makes a huge difference. Harden is not a PG.

Ehh no. Westbrook is inflexible and lacks basketball instincts. You live with what you get with him.
