    Harden and CP3 are 1 and 1a.

    Over the last 10 yrs.
Which Rockets do you trust with the ball in there hands
    Running the offense.

John Wall maybe #3 on this list?
This is why I feel a level of positivity

Wall would definitely be No. 3 in theory. But if James is gone, it'll be a moot point.

    Agreed.
Wall + Harden could be an attempt to revive 2017-18 season aka the year we were one hamstring away of a title.

But politics and players b****ing got in the way.

    I don't get this thread.

Are you just talking about the Rockets? If so, its Harden, CP3, Wall. Lin wasn't great, Beverly wasn't known to be a pure PG. Gordon and Rivers were okay at it, but you couldn't trust them to be consistent every night.

If you're talking about the entire NBA, what's the Harden era? Kyrie and Curry are great ballhandlers, and LeBron and Luka are great passers. Then you have the Jokics of the world, as well.

It's kinda crazy how little respect Harden gets for his passing abilities.

Tbh I have a fit Eric & Russell over John Wall.

Lou didn't have much time here.
And Eric isn't a great passer.
Russ is a better creator but his passes can be wild.

    The Rockets only

My premise is....if James was off ball
Who were we looking to handle the rock?

Na... cp3 over everyone. Has the best handles and passing combo. Curry would be second on handles but nowhere near in passing.
Harden is not far behind Paul if not second to Paul.

Probably as important, is how many other scorers has Harden played with. That Wood and Cousins might be 2 of the best says something.

Many of the guys that Harden has played with could not get their own shot, especially in our front court. I’m thinking Ariza, PJ, Covington, Capela and Dwight.

Harden should still be in the middle of the action, but to have guys that can catch the ball off a Harden drive and then attack the close out or shoot...only Chandler Parsons and maybe now House could do that.

    Chris Paul..easily.

Harden is significantly more gifted at putting the ball in the basket and attracting attention, but he's not as good at passing and ball handling (ball security matters). Very few in the history of the league are.

Frankly I think CP3 is gonna end up being maybe the most underrated player in league history because his supporting cast in LA was so dogs**t when it mattered.

    Oh hell no.

Harden's assist to turnover ratio for his usage rate SUCKS BALLS it is not even 2-1......

CP3 is a much more efficient ball handler, many players are more efficient than Harden.

    Come on man!

CP3! Prigioni was a really good ball handler! He was old but the guy was built like an old school ball handling and passing pg.

The Harden era will go down as the biggest tease in sports history.

Eric Gordon is not a ball handler, he is more of a ball off the footer.
