If Harden sits out the entire year or we trade him for basically trash and mammoth draft considerations and Wall and Boogie aren't healthy and barely play, it's somewhat possible.

But being the worst team in the league would be a lot better than being the 8th worst team or whatever in any event because we'd have a much better shot at keeping our pick and getting a potential franchise cornerstone in a supposedly loaded draft (Cade Cunningham OMG).

Yeah, personally I've lost faith in Harden as a leader.

My hope is that Silas is more motivational and pushes the right buttons and that Wall could be more of a leader when things go wrong. I don't expect it from Harden anymore but at least we can expect stellar play and if Cousins can become Boogie again...or even just a piece of Boogie, maybe he can get his attitude and be that fire and spark kind of guy.

It'll be interesting. I hope Harden gives it a legit chance.
