Looks like the Ben Simmons swap isn't available. The Brooklyn trade offer is a joke. Heat is interesting. I don't know what they'll offer. But Herro and picks might be the best offer available. Though depends on how good you think Herro is or how desperate we are. Clippers is Paul George and a 1st for Harden acceptable? GSW have nothing available I believe. Klay has too many injuries and nothing something we should consider. Not sure what the Bucks Raptors Celtics Nuggets Jazz Mavericks are offering, if anything. And whether Harden would go there. 2 years of Harden and then he leaves. Is possible too. Or 1 year and we do this again.
Just hold Harden until a team which either started slow or fast decides that Harden is worth betting the bank on.
Best would be to trade Harden to the hornets for loads of 1st rounds picks and then Harden doesn't re-sign with them. Possibility of happening....0%
Back to OKC for 17 x 1st draft picks lol. I like Sacramento for Fox, Hield and a few 1st round picks. But would rather keep Harden.
I want young dog to pair him with Silas. Young but hungry(most important aspect) prospect. I don't know current classs of rookies but maybe it's worth aiming for top3 pick in next years draft + expirings
I'd love PG and two firsts if possible. PG gets to revitalise his career here and we get two firsts to play with / trade. Retooling, not rebuilding!
You can forget about the Heat. Jimmy Butler will veto any Harden trade for sure. If Butler wanted to play with Harden so bad he would’ve just signed here last off season like so many of you thought he was going to do. Butler doesn’t roll like that. He’s not letting Harden come in and take his shine so he can sit around the corner and play a glorified PJ Tucker role while Harden ISO’s and launches ill advised 30ft step back 3’s off 1 foot. If I’m Pat Riley there’s also no way in hell im giving up Tyler Herro who isn’t even 21 yet plus other assets for a few years of Harden. The Heat have great pieces and their pieces fit together. They’re not going to bring in Harden which would essentially blow up a large chunk of their team and dramatically change their style of play. They’re trending in the right direction without Harden. Harden don’t wanna play with Butler anyways. That man is demanding, holds you accountable and won’t tolerate Harden’s bs.
Best exit scenario for Harden: He retires in 10 years, a 2x MVP, 3x champion Houston Rocket and we hang #13 in the rafters with the rest of our history. They bypass normal protocol and induct him directly into the basketball HOF right after his last game. He ends up working for ESPN and changing all the negative narratives, making Houston a more attractive place to play for future free agents. We get to remember being a part of basketball history until we die.
