Harden is acting like an idiot, but it seems like its another player that tested positive. We just have to wait and see. It will be interesting to see who can play tonight if anyone can at all.

 

This won't be the first game the NBA cancels. Harden is a jack ass but people are overreacting.

 

The NBA needs to step in. This is not a Rockets problem. If they don't take a hard stand here the way they did against LouWill then it will set a precedent that other players see little harm in violating rules as well. 320,000 have died and another 200,000 will die before everyone is adequately vaccinated / we reach herd immunity in the middle of the year. This is thumbing your nose at all those cases, all the ICU's in southern California and elsewhere in the country which are at capacity.

Harden needs to be made an example of. You don't agitate out of a team in this fashion. Fake an injury. Slouch it on the court. Do what other people have done. Harden got some bad advice. This offensive level of insubordination needs to be met with the harshest penalties, including a year's suspension and hard reset on his contract to begin again at the end of 2021, with two more years still on it.

 

The NBA player's association would never let that fly. I would like the NBA itself to do something so it doesn't have to be the Rockets themselves punishing because Covid is serious and you're messing with everyone's money whether you're immune or not.

If you think that James Harden is going to be the only one of these NBA players that goes where they are not supposed you're dreaming. But you're right it's a NBA issue. Harden will certainly be fined.
