This is true but the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers are different organizations in terms of location, history, and ability to lure free agents. They’re easier to be loyal to. This is why I’ve always backed harden’s loyalty to Houston as one of his greatest attributes. I don’t even mind that he wants to be traded. He’s put 8 years of good work in this city, I just hate how he’s gone about the process. It’s been hard on the fans that have defended him at every turn, they don’t deserve to be let down in this way.

Kobe had already won titles when he wanted out of LA..... Harden hasn't. I think Harden would be a whole lot less likely to leave if he already had titles... it is easy for Klay and Curry to say they will stay in GS after having won titles, same with someone like Wade or some others.... it legitimizes players unfortunately.
