You will never get “full value” for a star, so that’s not what we should be expecting. There is no team in the league where Harden wouldn’t walk in and instantly make them a top 5-7 offense...think about that for a second. What is that worth? i can almost guarantee it is not a lack of offers holding up this process.
Totally agree. We definitely had to slow the game down and not give them more possessions. They were the most efficient offense in league history. The more shots they get up the less our chances of winning became. Sad part is that should have worked.

the insane part of it to me is it did work and then the loss of moute and cp3 wittled our rotation too much. That team was one of the best in NBA history and it won’t get its due sadly

We don’t know he asked for Wall. Woj tweeted that but Woj has been off about a lot of things regarding Harden. Furthermore the consensus was Harden had had Zero contact with the front office recently so how is it he doesn’t talk to them and also tells them to get Wall. Lastly he tweeted the emoji with the teeth right after Wall said they’d talked to each other. Anyways we won’t know the truth but just cuz Woj said something about Harden does not make it true. The fact that Harden is reporting further let’s me know our front office was weak AF for not playing tougher with negotiations regarding Russ for Wall and getting a better pick out of it.
Unless we have an insane start to the season leading up to the trade deadline, Harden will likely still want to leave.

Wall literally said that speaking to Harden is why he wanted to come here and that they have spoke since the trade and are on the same page. Listen to his presser. Wall didn't have to go into detail like that. That's solid evidence. I don't know what exactly is happening but Wall could have just said next question like PJ did. He didn't do that.

I know what Wall said. Players always try to say the right things, sometimes it’s just not factual. I know you’re going to come back and say “why would he say that” but he probably did think that and thought it would be harmless. Harden definitely tweeted that emoji exactly after Wall said that; probably not in bad blood but probably cuz he feels he made no promises. Players say crazy sh t. Paul George said him and Kawhi always wanted to play together before teaming up....eye roll.
