As some have mentioned, is it possible to do a 3 team trade where LaVine come here, Simmons goes to Chicago and Harden goes to Philly?
According to a friend I have that is loosely plugged into the Nets, Brooklyn has been working on trying to find a third team to loop into a deal for Harden. They seem to think MPJ is someone the Rockets are intrigued by, and would love getting back in a deal. Seems like something loosely based around: BKN - Harden + PJ DEN - Dinwiddie + Allen?? HOU - MPJ + Caris + Joe Harris + picks No idea if this has any REAL credence or if the Rockets, Nuggets, or both shot it down. Just thought I'd pass it along either way.
Denver won’t do that now given the current mess even though harden is clearly the best player in the deal. Given Murray’s age and Hardens plummeting value can’t see it. Replace Murray with Harris and they will
I don't think you can trade Joe Harris until later next year. Even then, this seems like a terrible trade for Harden. I'm not the MPJ juice.
He could be but Miami trusted him to take over at times in the playoffs so he has heart and fight. I’m just ready for some new young blood
Totally agree. Ben Simmons is better than literally every player in that deal not named James Harden. Problem is Morey isn't including Ben in any proposed deals as of yet. And I think this deal would have to be done at the deadline. Sucks either way.
I only like Lavine if paired with Harden. Harden will maximize his efficiency. He is a very good offensive player right now but still so inefficient. Bulls are net positive when he is OFF the floor. I have not seen enough of Wall to believe he has Harden's gift of elevating players.

You seriously underestimate Harden's value. Ask for too much and you'll probably still get it. The man has been a top 3 player for 5 years straight. He put 40 on every team out there before. Ask for it all. Youth and a TON of picks.
It was Bill Simmons pod cast, but he then came back to the Ben Simmons trade cause moray connection. But Morey said hes not trading Simmons, so it is going back to convince Denver some way of letting the rockets get MPJ. Michael would be slight lesser version of Simmons but not a step off. He could very well be the next stepping stone or future star for sure if given the right team. Rockets could be perfect for him, rebuilding etc.. I messed around with the trade myself in random trades thread.
He definitely wants to leave. But if he thinks leaving here gets him a shot at a chip I’ve got news for him. championship caliber teams aren’t trading for him.
