But that never happened because Dream and the rockets settled their differences

this was a money issue because he wanted more and the Thomas regime didn’t want to pay him that much
But that changed cause they were on the plane and knew there was a new owner

Correct me if I am wrong, but the reason that we are where we are today is BECAUSE we have an owner as cheap and terrible as Les was as an owner. A lot of people **** on Dolan (and rightfully so), but at least the man is willing to spend money. Tilman is on Sarver / Sterling levels of bad.

Thanks mom and we are asking as Rockets fans that James and Brooklyn do what is necessary to make this trade beneficial to both franchises, not just one franchise. We can't always get what we want momma!

If Stone can flip Roco for two FRPs and get another FRP in the Russ/Wall trade then Brooklyn needs to do work!

Why does everyone expect Houston to take a poop sandwich here?

Obviously, but they are both Bball IQ. Even if Dwight had 0 offensive IQ he was very smart defensively, if he wasn't, Lebron wouldn't have trusted him on the court.

You think you saw it happen, but it can't happen. It's impossible to be a good defender and be stupid.

Hell, we see guys who aren't even athletic be good defenders because they are smart. We had one. His name was Battier.

Defense and playing defense is at least 50% mental, if not more.

And people are silly if they think Westbrook has 'Low Bball IQ'

People really confuse things like 'missing shots' as having low bball IQ or taking shots that Westbrook was literally asked to take.

If you have freak athleticism, and the right body to go along with good defensive instincts, you can be a good big man defender.

Any player that is complete garbage when they post up, that wants to force more post opportunities has a negative BBIQ.

From what I understand, his mom/agent would be pro Nets move.

    All we need to know.

If the owner didn’t make money saving moves and instead went out paid the tax and improved the team this isn’t even an issue right now. Tilman has proved since he’s been here he won’t do what is necessary to have a championship caliber team. This has been discussed on here so many times.

    Yes Dolan spends money
    Some people don’t realize that

Hakeem wanted money for himself and his contract

I do think Harden is at fault for some of this
His falling out with Chris Paul
And he definitely signed off for getting Westbrook

Winning a ring if you are one of the top 3 players in the league starts with YOU.

I don't think ANYONE has ever asked Westbrook to pull up early in the shot clock while 30ft out to shoot literally the absolute worst shot he has in his repertoire. Granted those died down a lot when he got to the Rockets, but those types of shots are never high BBIQ shots unless you are Curry or Arenas. It is a hail mary for most above average shooters as it is.

First parties in Vegas, now his mother speaking for him.
Harden is not a leader and never will be, but besides, James is really doing very little to preserve his image...

Dwight Howard was a freak athlete whose prime was still in the era where most DPOY candidates were narrowed down to do you get rebounds and block shots?

He was never a high IQ defender. He was a freak athlete who could make up for any mental mistakes with sheer athletic ability. It was actually a “thing” for him to get blown by frequently but then he would just clean that **** up from behind because his athleticism could cure all.

Dwight didn't have low BBIQ. He had too big of an ego and thought he was better than he was.

This is true. I think he got humbled after the Rockets.
