I liked what I heard from Wall, but we’ll just have to see what happens on the court...players always talk a good game when they 1st arrive or are in training camp

15 and 9 with above average defense while not being boneheaded like Russ and I’m good...that’s better next to Harden than 27 points on 23 shots and a never ending stream of stupidity like we got from Russ

from CW, I’m looking for around 17 and 10 with 2 blocks...let’s get it

Did he really throw him under the bus though?
Are you saying that because he said “that’s a question you have to ask him” or is there more I’m missing? I don’t think it’s too bad if all he said was he doesn’t want to speak for him which is how I interpreted it.

I think the main concern is whether he does start with the team at all

Oh man. Tillman must be ******** bricks. Think about how high must have been feeling when we were up 11 or however many points against the Warriors in Game 7 two years ago as the owner to how low he must be feeling now.

I thought you were breaking new there.
Tim McMahon hasn't reported that Harden is back in Houston or that he will be at the toyota center for his individual workout. He only reported what was already known. That Silas "EXPECTS" him to be there and has had no communication with Harden recently.

I’d be happy with both those lines but I’m actually expecting a little more out of wood. 20/12 would be money. Boogie at 16/8/4 and I’d be very happy with our big production.

expects him is good enough for me for me till otherwise. As long as there is no Harden refusing to even show up at the camp. I’m going to look it at a optimistic view. You want to look at it differently fine. That’s how you like to look at it’s fine.

The fact they believe he will show up is a start. Infact that Silas would say that is even more cause for optimism.

I hope you're right, but those are big numbers.

Silas was asked about Russ around a month ago and he said he “expects” him to be with the team.

If boogie can get similar production to his former self with limited minutes of about 20-25 a game I think it’s doable. I’m really trying to be optimistic. I’m more excited going into this year than I was last year. Not having to fake like WB but also cringe every time he touches the ball is a relief.

That’s standard coach speak. I think harden is going to show up based on what I know about harden. I don’t think he’s going to ruin 8 years of good will he’s built up in Houston by letting us all down. I think he wants to get it done here if he can.

It's not an issue of being pessimistic or optimistic. The difference between reporting what is expected and what is, has a huge distinction imo.

Mcmahon reporting silas expects Harden to show up could be a positive sign.

Mcmahon repoting that Harden HAS shown up or WILL show up can't be construed as anything but a huge positive.

One isn't really news worthy, the other is.

For sure on the coach talk. That was more in response people claiming that it’s an indication of anything.
I hope you’re right with Harden, and have good reason to be optimistic based on his Houston ties. I think the pessimism stems a lot from this club (mainly under Tillman), which is also valid.
Right now nobody knows a thing. I guess Harden does but he ain’t sayin

That's great. No problems with that at all.

I'm just looking for news. Certainly guesses and opinions are fun too, but when I read your post, I thought you were saying it was established that Harden was in fact already in houston and with the team etc.

Yes it's just one step in the process, but at least it eliminates the possibility of him not showing up.

No I was going by Silas words via McMahon. I think the fact there is now a chance harden will show up and give it a chance is a positive. If he gets traded then so be it as well. As I said this team will survive as we survived the tragedy of seeing Olajuwon retire as a Toronto Raptors player and Harden is no Olajuwon so we will survive.

What would Wall know compared to the cc fans who have wanted to trade Harden for young players and picks for five or six years

    Haha you actually don’t know?
When initial reports of a rift between Harden CP3 surfaced someone with a fake WOJ account tweeted a story that during a practice the past season CP told Harden he had man boobs and Harden started crying. And then Skip on his show on national television reported that story as if it was a legit rumour.

Lol Paul supposedly was making fun of Hardens man boobs at practice a few years back. I think it was Vince Goodwill or whatever his name was reported it right after the 018--019 season ended

It was a fake WOJ account trolling and an idiot or two in the media ran with it.
