holy sh*t, his jumper looks hideous training camp body and G-League scrub that might be out of the league 4 years from now like the Joe Chi’s and Kyle Witjer’s that came before him
Seriously, to answer your question, there's not a chance in hell anybody here knows yet until they all play against NBA or NBA-wannabe talent in real competition. All we've seen are highlights. Kind of eager to see if Mason Jones and Brodric Thomas' skills translate to the NBA in any way. Tate may be some kind of spark plug type player, but who knows. Should be an interesting season.
Since deleted... Michael Scotto @MikeAScotto “KJ Martin's four-year, $6.73 million deal with the Houston Rockets is fully guaranteed for the first two seasons, includes a partial guarantee for the 2022-23 season and a team option for the 2023-24 season, league sources told @hoopshype.”
kids gets money like that because of his potential? When he goes to Vipers and plays i bet he will suck. This goes to show you if your dad plays in the NBA, he can swing you rich. But I hope he doesn't , hopefully he doesnt get bounced out and have to go play in russia, but i would of gone to college, kid made a bad choice.
Closing the circle. His dad was a part of the trade for James Harden, now KJ gets to play with James Harden.
Lol I remember seeing this video and thinking gosh this kid entered the draft?? no way you lose to a dude like this - no excuses - like ever. he’ll never make it out of G league.
There are players in college right now that will give KJ buckets! Definitely lucky his last name is Martin which got him some publicity, tagging him with “potential”...unfortunate because there are players in college and overseas that are more deserving. this kid jumps high...that is all...but he’s also 19 so I’ll give him a chance.
For sure! In his presser he said he wants to be a PJ Tucker. Like no way he was playing anywhere close to a PJ Tucker defense he let the man get what he wanted everytime. If your in the draft with scouts looking out for you. This is not how you wanna look.
In the beginning of kjs video his trainer said something about him having worked hard and being tired. Then they ran some other stuff before the one on one game in which he was going half of half speed. Then compare him to maybe one of the best one on one players to ever live. KJ might suck and be the worst prospect of all time, but that video doesn’t say much of anything.
With a youtuber no less. That guy needs hits. If KJ embarrasses him too much, he just won’t post the video. A “miracle” come back win is what gets the audience excited. Think about it.
