This. Next year better go great for the Rockets because I bet at the first sign of adversity Harden will pout, stop playing, and demand a trade.
yea idk. Def think he’s intrigued but think now that the season started the chances are slim. Harden is kind of a big piece and play style to just throw in mid season. Ideally you’d want a training camp even if it’s accelerated this year.
He’s been at UH working out this entire week. If he doesn’t show up Sunday then that’s another flag but at this point he wouldn’t be in town if he had no intentions of attending camp. He has 0 reason to be at individual workouts beforehand when the limits have been capped.
No, it's not true. As everyone pointed out, he's been training at UH for days now because he's allowed to do more there than he could do at the team facility due to COVID restrictions. Marc Stein was just making things up trying to stir the pot.
He was in the neighborhood by the TC for lunch supposedly a couple days ago so I wouldn’t read too much into it. It was conveyed to Harden before the Wall deal that it was going to go down. So while they have not directly sat down and talked or had conversations on the phone, the Rockets believe he will be there when he is supposed to be. I do think it is a mistake for Silas to have not made an effort to speak to Harden. He could have arranged it through Sampson. Harden is someone that is distrusting of new people and Silas will have to earn his trust.
