So HBO Max will now have all 2021 Time Warner releases simultaneously as theaters. Awesome. But still no 4k so FML.
Gotta say that the hbo max app for android sucks. On android tv theres no skip intro option and on the mobile app theres no control options on the lock screen when casting. Get your **** together hbo. Also thank you for so much content.
Its 2020 and all for being progressive, but I just dont think Im mentally ready to take the leap just yet.
https://www.theverge.com/2020/12/1/...1984-4k-ultra-hd-dolby-vision-atmos-announced Hopefully more movies / releases follow suit.
This is a game changer. I dont care about going to movies I just want to see the movie. I might buy this one.
Not particularly interested in any of them except Godzilla, and I sure as hell am not gonna watch that in my living room.
Not even a passing interest for Dune, Matrix 4, Space Jam, Mortal Kombat or Suicide Squad? come on, man.
I might watch Dune, Mortal Kombat and Suicide Squad eventually. Like Godzilla, those are theater movies if I do end up wanting to see them. The Matrix is one of the GOATS, but the sequels were trash so no hype there. Lebron can go f**k himself.
1 month on HBO Max, then they are removed to stay in Theaters...then VOD and the normal movie distribution. My Xbox Series X is ready for 4k UHD and has HBO Max.
Dude, this is awesome. And not even a fee, which I would gladly pay for some of these. Heck, I would watch more new releases on PPV than I would go to the theater for pre-COVID-19.
As a lover of the movie-going experience, this is a sad, sad, day. Saw it coming, but this is the death of movie theaters.
you can still go to the movies. there probably wont be as many theaters though if this continues beyond 2021.
That's what I'm saying. The overall experience is dead. They'll still be around, but only if you want to see the 2-3 generic big-budget blockbusters in mostly empty theaters. Just won't be the same.
