Is John Wall similar to Chris Paul? They play similarly I think. Both carried their Teams. Both are excellent Dribblers, Crossover, Create off the Dribble. High IQ especially in the Playoffs. John Wall is more likable, Chemistry will be much better in the Locker Room. Russell Westbrook Panic Missed Shots exposed his no talent Self. John Wall has had Great Moments In the Playoffs.
Wall was a better player than Westbrook when he was healthy. However coming back from an achilles rupture is tough ... I'll have to see how he does in a real NBA game. With his contract he's basically as untradeable as Westbrook was.
Wall can actually have a decent year and regain some value. That probably wont happen with russ. We didnt lose the trade.
John Wall's closest NBA comparison coming out of college and throughout the NBA is...... https://www.nbadraft.net/players/john-wall/ Ball dominant ultra athletic point guard with poor outside shooting....... hmmmm who does that remind me of.
Christian Wood 2 man game with Derrick Rose was really impressive. With John Wall I think Christian will have more comfort in John Wall, playing the pick and roll dunk or Wood 3 Pointer. John Wall is more Coachable and willing to listen to teammates.
