If you’re not excited about this deal it’s because you’re still in denial that they traded for Russ in the first place. given that they did... I assume you watched last season?? At his best in the regular season it still didn’t look “right”. It still looked mostly like empty stats being pushed by pure athleticism. There’s lots of other deals I would have preferred. Those weren’t available. ASSUMING John Wall is healthy he’s a clear better fit next to Harden. He’s an upgraded shooter and defender. He fits the style better and doesn’t take as many ****ing insane mod range turnaround jumpers. if he’s not healthy... well at least he’s not Westbrook. Who when he wasn’t at his best for a month last year was horrible and was especially so in the playoffs where horrible is too kind a word.

the reports are saying Hou-Was GMs hadn’t spoken in weeks until re-engaging today. So it’s probably his not reporting that caused it.
