People are acting like we had a choice. Market wasn’t there for Russ, he made it worse by demanding out, and his contract is absurd, further limiting options. Do I wish we got more? Yes. Do I think it’s a downgrade? Absolutely. But my guess is Stone was basically forced to make the move. The fact that we haven’t heard anything from Harden makes me very nervous.
Exactly. It's not like Westbrick is going to learn how to shoot. At least Wall has a chance to be good again plus there would not be enough basketballs to shoot between brick, harden, wood and cousins. Wall will actually run a system instead of brick who would just charge into the paint or miss a contested 3 every play.

This is a terrible trade. You just traded a guy who was averaging 30 after the trade deadline for a guy who hasn’t played in 2 years. And that pick doesn’t sound appealing at all.
2017 me is thrilled that we somehow magically got Boogie Cousins and John Wall without giving up Harden.
