Out of those receivers listed who is the Chiefs #1. The Texans have fast WR's like WFV/Cooks and a vet slot guy like Cobb just like the Chiefs. The only true advantage the Chiefs have among the receivers is Kelce. If you want to say the Chiefs have a much better running game then I'm in total agreement.

Read your post i responded to. You wrote this:

"I hate that WFV got suspended because if Watson has a bad game against Indy's playoff caliber defense (They're getting 3 DL back from the Covid list) there's another built in excuse."

So... you are preemptively saying if Watson has a bad game against a defense you define as good, folks could use the lack of Fuller as an excuse.

Meanwhile you make an excuse for Watson playing well against a playoff caliber defense (NE) because they were missing players.

So in essence you get to make excuses when players are missing if Watson has a good game, but you don't allow others to make excuses if Watson is missing players and has a bad game.

Nothing to do with Watson here.

I've said the Texans have been dysfunctional since Smith stabbed Kubiak in the back and the McNair's let it happen. This doesn't even take into account the dysfunction in the Smith/BOB yrs. Today there's got to be even more dysfunction in the Texans org, there isn't one person that's qualified to make a GM/HC hire on the search committee. This includes Watson and Watt along with Cal/Easterby/Pancakes. It's looking like it's going to be a long decade and that's if Watson is as good as you think he is and where we disagree. If Watson isn't as good as you think he is the Texans will sink to the Browns/Jags/Jets level.

People will use WFV as an excuse and if he means that much to the offense/Watson they should sign him long term at almost any cost.

I did say they have only beaten or played well against bad or depleted defenses and that includes Watson too. However I may have been to tough on Watson when it comes to the Pats because even in their depleted state they still have the greatest defensive mind that's ever lived. IMHO

He would be like McNabb in Reid's offense.

WR Tyreke Hill & TE Kelce are HOFs.

HC Andy Reid is a HOF.

So who on the Texans matches this again? Who’s going to suit up for the next game on offense that’s a HOF?

McNabb played in 4 NFC CHAMPIONSHIP games and one Super Bowl which he lost a close game to TB12/ Hoodie. Not too bad considering the Texans HAVE NEVER PLAYED IN ONE.

Tyreke Hill is not a HOF at this point. Some of the stuff you guys come up with is just plain ridiculous.

If the Chiefs repeat, Hill will have been a number 1 WR on two Super Bowl teams. He would be on a HOF track. And worlds better than anyone on the Texans roster. But who knows maybe the Chiefs will trade him for David Johnson & a 3rd?

Being the number 1 receiver on a super bowl team isn’t HOF worthy.....yet.
He’s had a nice start and is top 5-7 in the league but not HOF player right now. With his personality it’s just as likely he’s out of the league as it is he puts up 8 more years like this one.

What about multiple Super Bowl Teams? He’s working on number 2. And I’m sure the whole league wishes he was out of the league. No he’s not squeaky clean & you may not like his “personality “ but he’s a helluva football player & on a HOF track. Maybe the Texans organization could learn something from the Chiefs.

He is a helluva player. Not big on a dude that beats women and children, but you do you.

He’s still not a HOF player. He’s fast, makes plays and has good yardage.
He has terrible hands, like worse than Fuller hands.
Catch rate of 67% good for 87th in the league. Behind Fuller and one spot ahead of Cooks.

So Fuller and Cooks are better than Tyreke Hill?

You throw out a stat to suggest that the Texans have something on their roster that’s comparable to one of the biggest game breakers in football. It’s laughable really.

It’s a reference point to his hands.

The only thing laughable is you thinking Hill is a HOF player at this point. Hill needs to be a top receiver in the game at some point to even be in that convo, maybe even top 3.
But keep on overrating things and making excuses for Watson.
Pro tip, if he’s that good he doesn’t need the excuse making. Definitely doesn’t need you knocking Mahomes to prop him up if that’s the case.

I’m not knocking Mahomes who’s the best QB in the game. I love watching the guy. But people knocking Watson without acknowledging THE TOTAL CRAP SHOW that this organization is , HAS AN AGENDA. The Chiefs are one of the top organizations in the NFL with future HOFs on the field AND at HC. Mahomes has a damn good situation and takes advantage. It’s just a fact.

    The logic is flawed.
Watson gets all the credit for his good games but not of the criticism when he plays bad.
It’s he doesn’t have help (not true).

If it’s all him, that’s fine, he’s the man. But if it’s all him, keep it consistent when his play is off.

So you would choose the Texans personnel over the Chiefs?
