This wasn’t Rose’s Plan A, however. When Rose came aboard, The Post has learned, he talked internally about his grandiose plans of trading for point guard Chris Paul, his former CAA client, to hasten the rebuild.

Then Rose planned to sign ex-Knick Carmelo Anthony, Paul’s buddy. Anthony also is a former Rose client who rejuvenated his career in Portland.

Lol at the Knicks wanting Carmelo back again. You hated Carmelo at age 32? Well you’re going to love him at 36!

Obi Toppin seems to be a worse Stoudemire.

Knicks should trade for Lou Williams. Lou is on an expiring contract, capable of scoring a bunch of points and would provide the fans a reason to attend the games...

I think it’s under appreciated, to an extent, what the rockets would be recognized as (player perspective) if it all actually blew up.

Christian Wood isn’t James Harden but he represents the type of market we will always attract and that we provide, based on our last 10 years as a franchise - if you want to prove yourself as an all star/super star, we are willing to give you the opportunity.
