2021 Rockets City Jerseys

For one, i like it.

For two... yes, this EXACTLY.

For three, i like it but it could be MORE like this. If they could make it MORE like this with both shades of blue, the red and white, i'd be down for permanent rebrand to those colors.

That it reminds me of the Oilers is a PLUS in my book.

 

I actually liked the NASA-like jersies, but w/ SPACE CITY instead of H-Town.

 

Last season's NASA white unis were the best "white" jerseys in Rockets history.

Bar none.

I have loved all the checkered Gemini inspired uniforms, even the short sleeved grays.

 

Should of just brought back the pajama unis..

We need to rep the HOUSTON ROCKETS history IMO... not the professional football history of Houston.
I loved the Oilers but this color scheme aint doing it for me.

Nobody outside Houstonians knows anything about Houston because of Les Alexander.

They know more about Shanghai and Beijing because of him.

If Tilman can doing anything right, he should bring back the HOUSTON part back from the Houston Rockets.

We're not China's team, please give that notion to Lebron and the Lakers.

Im kinda done with the China theme too though. Bring back the retro's or even the Clutch City shirts.

I couldn’t roll w them to Tennessee like a lot of people did. Would rather be a cowboys fan the em way they betrayed the city.

logo sucks but at least it looks ok overall

 

I blame Bob Lanier. He refused to build a new stadium and after they left built one for each sports team as well as a team that they didn’t have (LA was awarded the Texans). There are only so many of pro sport teams and because of that you cater to their wants and needs unless you are in California...

All of that said I don’t care where you stand on the Texans/Oilers rivalry but the Music City Miracle was a poetic F you to the city of Buffalo and should have been for Htown.

 

Not using a Harden jersey for this had me worried.

But then I realised there is nobody more H-Tine than Gerald, so he deserves to be the promo boy for the City jerseys

 

Did they have a meeting over how to make this season more forgettable?

Or was it more regrettable?

I can't tell.

 

I love these jerseys. One of the only things Tillman has done right.

 

Academy wants to post everything early for sale on Friday but now that the jerseys have been officially unveiled they won't post anything. What the heck I want to give you my money.
