Chucky Brown when I suck and cant hit a shot Brent Barry when I am on. It seems like the rest of my game expands when I am hitting some shots. I can drive and pass better. But I still play decent D.
Good lord, these sort of threads get thick. I'd have to say I'm a 6 foot, 5-inch Hakeem.....in the later stages of his career. My mobility isn't what it used to be, even though I can still jump pretty decently. I can score like gangbusters in the post and my post moves are copied directly from Olajuwon (I had tons of old tapes of his). I can rebound, pass out of the post (I'm quite unselfish) defend and block shots with the best of them. However, running up and down the court is a chore for someone who has survived two knee surgeries, innumberable rolled ankles and a back surgery to boot. And I can't defend anybody on the perimeter, my lateral quickness is awful against smaller guards who can cross me over in a second. Just let me get the ball down low and stick me on the other team's big guy.
I got a mid range and post up game..I can hit fadeaways, hooks and take it to the hole but I can't dunk at all. I can touch rim though
im like mo taylor mixed in with an overweight ron artest, post anyone up, can shoot from anywhere, play Lockdown D, iam not very fast, pretty quick for my size and crappy handles
rebounding skills of MoT court awareness of Mooch stamina of Yao Shandn Andersn's jumper Collier's handles Cato's passing old Glenn Rice's d all rolled into one ustoppable force.
I've been said I play a lot like Mario 'Junkyard Dog' Elie. We all remember him, don't we? I got a sick 3point shot (very clutch), and I'm a tough defender. But I have very little post game. Heck, I never venture inside the 3point line!
I'm a lot like a combination Billy Paultz and Larry Smith, but without the height, flashy offensive moves, or ability to jump more than like 3 inches.
Spoon or Sir Charles for size and rebounds except I hit 3's about like Horry I pass like a 4-banger taking on a Muscle car. I get position in the post like a fullback slamming through the line... people usually fall, and usually I foul out. It's tough being 6'2" and 295 lbs. on a full court... very hard to stop on a dime after chuugin' down the court. Half court game is more suitable. This is why I prefer standing at a plate, first base or in the backfield. Less finesse required on the diamond or the grid iron IMO.
Mark Jackson in his Pacer days. I will find the open man every time. I'll also take ill-advised shots at times. I also have that "push the ball up with the palm for a layup" move down. I just need to work on my wiggle.
