Lol dude, we have three seasons of him playing above average to elite level play dude. Just so you know, Watson has the all time passer rating title currently though Mahomes will fly past Watson on e he reaches minimum amount of attempts. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_rating_career.htm
SMH.... damn you really don’t like DW4. It’s cool . But damn When he plays “bad” you get at him, when plays well you pour salt. So it really doesn’t matter how he plays.
So if he had thrown 3 ints vs Lions then he’s overrated but if he torches the lions it’s because it’s the lions? Lmao pathetic
I know I'm not saying anything earth shattering here, but I am so impressed with Deshaun's progression this season. He just looks sharper, faster, and totally in control. I had high expectations and he has shattered them.
He could play great for the rest of the season except one bad game and all you would do is point out that one bad game he’s had a great season and you just find ways to diminish it you’ve already made up your mind on him and it doesn’t seem like you’re someone who is willing to change it...I guess that’s fine
I hate, hate, HATE playing this card, but at this point... I mean, maybe? Dude literally thinks Derek Carr is better. It's unbelievable.
His rookie year hail mary against Patriots. The first quarter touchdown against Seattle. He has plenty of arm strength.
I don’t know what he is....but Trump supporter. However, certain people like their QBs to fit a certain ideal.
This is just as dumb as someone saying the only reason you support Watson is because he’s black. If Watson was white would you support him during his bad stretches? See how that works? Stupid statement I’m not defending raining threes, but you can’t criticize Watson’s bad play here without fanboys insinuating you’re a racist.
One of these does not belong? How do they calculate that. Mayfield went 3 of those games without scoring a TD pass and averaging 52 % on completions and in the first game of those 6, he threw 1 td and 2ints with a 55 %. Mind blown. One of the things I hated about the schaubie era, before the seal got his arm, was that he'd drive the Texans all the way down to the 6 yard line hand it off to Foster for the TD but everyone would forget about the passes that got the ball to the 6. Mayfield hasn't even been doing that with the exception of game 2 of those 6 games listed vs Cincy, where he threw for 298 yards. The other 5 games: 119 yards, 122 yards, 134 yards and 258 yards. I know: Yes I am.
If it’s QBR, I think that’s way too subjective of a rating system. I like the idea but still seems too uneven.
Watson has been considerably better now that he's reliably getting the ball out more quickly, dumping BOB has a LOT to do with that. It's the step forward he's needed his entire career.
I'm glad you're finally able to recognize that his game has improved... the potential was (and has been) there since he was drafted. Obviously, there have been a multitude of setbacks to his career; injury, lack of talent (o-line mainly), and lack of a competent HC. If anything you have to give him that much more credit for being able to improve so steadily without a true leader at his side. You really have to comment him for that.
