Fro the past two games it seems and feels like the officiating is what is killing us. Now I understand the rockets have played immaculate games where we are robbed blindly by the officials, but we are still being robbed by them. I feel like Kobe, Shaq and the other hacks get the calls on one end and the rest of teh rockets get absolutely nothing. This is ridiculous. Do they not call taunting anymore? I swear, Kobe and Malone have been deserving of a taunting tech the entire game, nothing is called. Shaq is in foul trouble, that is the only right call they've made. When will this travesty end?!
The Lakers have shot one more free throw than the Rockets. Stop blaming the refs, and put the blame where it belongs, on the team, mainly Yao.
Agreed ... we definitely cannot blame the refs in the series. They have done a good job. I'm sorry but if Karl Malone is going to hit his outside jump shot, as well as Rush and Fish hitting from three point range, the Rox have no chance. Nore does the rest of the league I am afraid.
The one glaring mistake was when the refs gave Kobe 3 freethrows when Cat clearly fouled him before he was shooting. The other horrible call was when taylor was pushed, the whistle blew, taylor travelled as a result of the push, and then the ref called a travel. It was so obvious that he was going to call the push, but then changed it to a travel for the hell of it. Those were the 2 calls that pissed me off the most. Other than that, the officiating was decent. Yao finally got some respect when shaq kept getting him on the wrist. Also, its funny to see Malone flop all game long, only to get maybe 1 call as a result. Malone, you are a disgrace.
You have got to be kidding... game 1 especially was some of the best officiating in the playoffs I've seen in a long time.
