[Marvel TV] Hawkeye

Does anybody else hate Jeremy Renner and cant stand his face?

 

Only serious answers of wanting to punch that face, please...... All other answers will not be accepted.

 

She look good, but Renner could ruin this. If he gets the Falcon's wings though, that might be bad ass enough for me to watch.

 

Do the costume look terrible to everyone else or is it just me?

 

So is this going to be like Loki where they use the series to focus on completely different characters. Like they say series is about Hawkeye but it's really about setting up his daughter?

 

Oh I see she's playing the better girl version of Hawkeye and this sets up the Young Avengers. I'm guessing they throw in America Chavez somewhere too. Haven't read much about her but she seems ridiculously OP

Things that do not interest me:

1. Replacing existing characters with new versions of the same character. It works for someone like Captain America. But not anybody else. We don't need a new Black Widow, Hulk, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Wolverine or anyone else. Why, even? There isn't a good or interesting reason for it.
2. Kids playing superhero. It doesn't interest me now, but the truth is, even when I was a kid reading comics it didn't interest me. It's just.... cheesy.

Very James Bond. The Xmas setting is a good call-- will spawn "is a Xmas show?" threads for decades to come.

 

For those that don't read the comics the Kate Bishop / Hawkeye storyline is very good and I have high hopes for this series if they follow the source material.

 

Very Die Hard-esque. I like it.
