Happy Thanksgiving! There won't be any family gathering for me this year, but I'm thankful for my family staying safe, and want to keep it that way. I love them too much to put anyone at risk, and want them around for many more years. Thanks to all my friends and family for all you have done to add joy and love to my life. Sending you all some virtual love and hugs. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving too! No family or friends gathering for me also but that's OK. It's nice to have a get together but for me I understand why getting together with people who are in high risk categories isn't a good idea.
Happy Thanksgiving... keeping it small this year. Just my parents, my boys and my gf. Would normally be about 20 more people in a relatively small space.
Just the wife and I this year. Going maximum lazy, I’m making velveeta Mac and cheese and bought pre-made turkey.
Pork tenderloin brining in herbs and buttermilk -- will sear it up in an iron skillet. wild-rice, mushroom and prosciutto dressing delicata and greens w' buttermilk dressing ... Just for me and the Mrs. this year. But computer chats with various relatives and n'rdowells.
Back in college some of my out-of-state dorm-mates were going to do exactly that. My grandmother laughed when I told her what they were eating, so I took pity and brought them all out to the family gathering.
We did a ham this year with brown sugar rub and pineapple. Delicious. Hope y’all had a Happy Thanksgiving.
Our neighbors did the heavy lifting, so it was a relatively easy Thanksgiving for us. To that end, we had our usual neighborhood group over last night for a Thanksgiving Eve brisket spectacular. Best brisket I have ever had. If you're ever in the St. Petersburg area, make a reservation at Dr. BBQ. You won't regret it. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
