Assume we have big 3 now like Miami before
, he can play a role like Ray Allen. He needs to shoot 3 points more accurately.

James Harden. Gordon and Tucker would be second and third in some order.

Lol. Harden is our best playoff player??? Lugentz Dort disagrees lol. Throughout his tenure its been Eric Gordon who's our most solid post season player. The guy has a bad playoff series and NOW everyone wants him gone

Rockets will need 3-pt shooters with Harden running the point and opponents having a hard time defending the paint and the perimeter with Boogie/Wood who are good decent 3-pt shooters. This will space the floor and we will need EG or a similar replacement. He is also not a bad defender, in fact much better than other guards that we have.

Gordon is a better player than OP is at making threads.

Gordon and Tucker are the guys that really play with heart and BBIQ IMO

The perfect player we could trade Eric Gordon for is George Hill.

He would fill the third guard in our rotation, is a vet and makes less money than EG, which can take some stress off our salary cap.

I would think at some point Presti is going to have to stop taking back bad contracts but he just may be willing to do it for more first rounders.

I'm shocked that nobody has mentioned stretching Gordon's salary.

Not advocating stretching him but it seems like someone always suggests that.

    Maybe I just missed it

If you can get Demar Derozan here for Gordon,Tucker,House plus 2 first. You talk about having one last go around. Well if he does really get traded which i doubt. Spurs would never help the rockets out anyways. But if you give them those 2 first. His salary expires and you could move on lineup to get a good player around Wood in the 2021 NBA Free Agency period. I think it actually a even trade.

All i know, eg haters grew once russ fans started to point fingers. The playoffs exposed a lot of holes in westbrook's game especially with the way we play. They couldnt accept he was human. Now complaining about the eg contract. Eg took less money to be here, and his pay raise was a reward (last yr not even guaranteed) for being arguably the 2nd best playoff performer for this squad for all the years hes been here. They dont know coz they just bandwagoned w russ. From the eyetest he sacrificed so much of his game to let beard get his godly numbers. He will always be this team's championship or bust barometer.

James Harden has clearly been the team’s best playoff performer during the last two postseasons. This isn’t even arguable. During the 2019-2020 postseason, he led the Rockets in offensive win shares (1.7) and was second to Robert Covington in defensive win shares (.7). Both marks were top 10 in the league. He was fourth among all players in Offensive Box Plus Minus with a 7.5 rating, and first on the Rockets. His Defensive Box Plus Minus (1.9) was 18th overall and second on the team behind Covington. Harden’s 9.4 Box Plus Minus ranked fourth among all qualifying playoff participants. Eric Gordon had a 0.0 Offensive Box Plus Minus and a .4 Defensive Box Plus Minus. Harden’s win shares per 48 was fifth among all players at .253; Gordon was 71st at .053.

In the 2019 postseason, Harden still led the Rockets in Offensive Win Shares (1.0), Defensive Win Shares (.7), Win Shares per 48 minutes (.189), Offensive Box Plus Minus (6.4), and tied with Chris Paul for second on the team in Defensive Box Plus Minus (.7).

You can make the argument that Chris Paul was right there with him during the 2017-2018 playoff run.

Rockets’ fans want Eric Gordon traded because he had an awful regular season, and the team needs more length and an upgrade at SF. It also didn’t sit well with many fans that Gordon came in to last season out of shape, and he neglected to surgically address lingering knee soreness that started during the 2018-2019 season over the summer. Instead, that issue cost him six weeks during the regular season.

All eg has to do is have some games to shut them up. I seen him be explosive. He got to shut the haters up. Thou people will always hate on you when you get a big contract and dont show up in the first year.

A lot of it was Tilman-driven, but Morey’s last couple years here were incredibly bad and ruined the future of this team.

You're argument is win shares???? How about the good ol eye test. Harden CLEARLY hasn't shown up while EG has played solid in the postseason since they got here. Yes Harden’s ppg looks good on paper, but his efficiency has been trash. Also turnovers & decision making have been horrendous. Eric Gordon has been our most reliable player in the playoffs by FAR
