There is never a point where I say no to Gerald Green in a Rockets uniform. Brings heart and three pointers. That and when something goes down if he is on the court, he gets involved. Nothing but a straight H-town ride or die.

 

Imagine if Benny Mac worked on his defense and we were able to play both of them on the court at the same time.

 

GG can still shoot and we need shooters, his defense has always been bad, but we're going to be trying to score 115-125 a night so sign me up. He's also an H-Town mainstay.

The Rockets want to Improve the Roster by having more. 3 and Stronger Defensive Guards and Forwards.

Gerald Green does get lost on defense, or laterally can't move on Defense. Point Guards will look for Gerald on defense like Robert Covington One on One. Chris Paul destroyed Robert Covington.

If he knows how to play defense like Ariza or Mbah Moute, I would want him back.

The Playoffs is very Different from the Regular Season. In the Playoffs you Will be Exposed by your Lateral Defense and IQ in Passing on Offense. Gerald can't do these.

It's bad enough when Westbrook gets lost on defense or Harden gets lost on defense. The 12 Roster Spots should be 3 and D All Around Players.

 

I want him back. He is old by league standards but his marginal playing time has him at low mileage.

If we resign GG, I'll start to have respect again for the franchise. This guy bleeds H-town, those players don't grow on trees. It's not always analytics, fans love to see teams that show love for their city.
