yeah...that’s utter and complete bogus corporate speak.

I don’t doubt that they don’t want to do any deals currently out there. But denying that he made a trade request...definitely not the truth.

 

The point is we don’t know.
A lot of rumors but we don’t really know. People like to make all this noise to either have something to talk about or lower the value of a player or even hurt the FA of some teams.
So let’s not believe anything we hear regarding Russ or Harden until they have personally express those things.

 

Russ has no reason to be loyal to this franchise.

His mother franchise are the Thunder.

So it is more likely that he leaves because let's face it his athleticism is waning.

The Rockets have not been impressed with the offers they've received for Russell Westbrook and it's unlikely he'll be traded before training camp, according to sources of Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

 

Nice, let's roll with what we have and go from there. Where did all of this Westbrook and Harden smoke come from? I assume Russ mentioned a trade but doesn't sound like he has been very forceful about it and is still wearing Rockets gear. I really think they should give it another go and see how they start the season. If there are some chemistry issues then do what you have to do but Westbrook is more valuable to this team than taking on a worse contract and a player with more question marks.

 

I don't mind a Russ/Wall trade.
we know Russ can't shoot.
if we lucky enough to get a healthy Wall, he can definitely shoot better than Russ

 

Rockets would be sitting so nice if they just never traded for Westbrook, AKA the most damaging move they could have made last year.

 

im not a big fan of the what-ifs, because there's no telling how Harden-CP3 relationship would have progressed, whether CP3 would have came back strong, etc.

Im not pissed about the swap, im pissed about the ridiculous price they paid for it.
