That's all he and that's the problem. If you get to drive in he's gonna go to the ball and leave his man to try to get the block. One pass to whomever Whiteside is supposed to cover and that's a free dunk. Why do you think he's going from 16+M the last few seasons to minimum now? He conned Miami into a contract then his true colors showed. Absolutely abysmal defender. Give me fundamentally sound defense any day over flashy blocks.

Rockets could have added length by signing Keita Bates-Diop but Spurs signed him to 2 way.

Rockets are in love with 6'4 players, just baffling. Only 2 players taller than 6'8 on the roster and 1 is recovering from multi-season injuries.

Vonleh should be worked out, at least.

Should have signed uber defender 6'7 Torrey Craig, instead Bucks sign him and Rockets pick up their castaway in 6'5 Sterling Brown.

Players are signing vet mins to play back up roles on other teams instead of competing for starter spot with Rockets.

    Disappointing.

PJ Tucker literally provides more rim protection than Hassan Whiteside.

Whiteside makes mistakes, and has to recover by blocking shots. Cheap blocks, cheap rebounds. Dude is playoff UNPLAYABLE.

I'd rather re-sign Chuck Hayes or Deke...

Either sign Taj Gibson or Ersan and call it a day.

I really wanted Torrey Craig on this team. I wonder if Stone even put in a call.

BraBra, don't pay attention to haters, I know you are a Rockets fan and support Brodie and the Beard and any true fans on this site should not be so friggin hateful of what you have been doing. I appreciate the info you provide, it's impossible to predict when a pen goes to paper, even agents think they have a sure thing and find out minds change. A lot of it is politics, but you have been nailing it, and for that I give you respect!!!

    Yes to both.

And Dedmon. Need an insurance for Cousins.

Adding both would be pretty awesome. Roberson can't shoot worth a damn but defense should still be above average.

Bro, our two primary moves this offseason have added length/height.

If he's 100% and back in playing shape, I'll take Roberson of those choices.

After him for a backup PG it depends what other choices we still have

If not him we need a 6'7 or 6'8 wing with some length for defensive matchups in the playoffs.

You need those guys, like RoCo, young Ariza and Mbah on the 65 win team.

His shot isn't great but he can rebound and is a plus defender:

    Not at the 3/4 spot.

House or PJ are still 6'6. And both are better off the bench.

Not sure if you understand that Cousins is coming of consecutive injuries to his legs. Counting on him right now is irresponsible. He is frosting if he pans out.

There is a reason he only signed vet min, he is a risk.
