The new version was released Friday. Some of the new features include: A 40 man roster Rule V Draft Waivers for trades after the deadline More realistic days to count ML service(so you don't bring a guy up for one game at the end of the year and lose a whole year of arbitration) New player ratings alogorithms (players hit the wall at different times rather than at a specific age) New AI and and a more advanced Amatuer Draft (College player have more initial skill and less upside, High schoolers are raw but have more room to develop) http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/ootp/
You have the game? What do you think of it so far? How is the web export/pages compared to 4 and 5? (Navigation? /Do the pages demand more space now?) Can you import a league from OOTP4?
I don't have it. I don't have near enough tim efor it to warrant spending the money. I may get it this summer but can't really answer your questions. I only get email from OOTP developments and figured someone may be interested to know it was out. LIke all the other versions I would assume that you can import older games, but as it was with 4 to 5 some of the ratings will not translate because there are differences in those. the main ones are still there but there are added ratings for consistency, and other stuff that the game randomly puts in. You may want to check out the OOTP forums to find out for sure the answers to your questions. CK
