According to the Google dashboard we're just under 2k but that is likely to be exceeded very soon. Also in the early days of the pandemic we had gotten close to 3K deaths a day which unfortunately looks like we have the potential to get back to that figure.
Sadly it won't make much of a difference. Lindsey Graham has been more brazenly hypocritical yet still won comfortably. A sense of hypocrisy is no longer something that many in the GOP are capable of.
And of course the local news here is reporting that even though MN put in new restrictions bars in Hudson, WI just half an hour from the Twin Cities are packed with people coming from across the border.
I hope another Republican or Democrat beats him or he moves on eventually. I really do not need to see videos like above, hear his voice, see his face for the next 30 years of my life.
