Sorry - I didn't mean to single you out there. There certainly are people that like to violate rules- and I agree any rules should be well-explained. But I would argue they *are* well-explained - there's just a huge chunk of people that only listen to one insane person, so it doesn't matter how well anyone else explains it. He doesn't like masks, so they all follow his lead. These mask policies work - science tells us that. A bunch of idiots just choose not to listen. I agree it seems silly on first glance - but it's essentially another way to slow spread from bars. I suspect, like the mask data above, science shows a night curfew helps quite a bit by getting the most irresponsible people out of the mix. It's also far more workable than a 24 hour curfew, which no one would follow.

The latest predictions I am seeing is this current uptick will be worse than April but everywhere. Everywhere will be El Paso and New York. This November has already been downright catastrophic, and at this rate December will be apocalyptic. And we still do not have adequate supplies of PPE AND still people are in denial despite everything that has already happened. I am at a loss for words. Pray for us.

That applies to your opinion as well. I've always been for a data based approach and not a sledgehammer approach. My opinion is always flexible to change based on new information. Sweden always had restrictions and responsible guidelines. It is inaccurate to say they didn't.
