Don’t judge him as some type of starter getting major minutes that we will be leaning on. He will come off the bench for short periods for D and to make hustle plays. We need players like him with good size and athletic ability that know their role. Let’s give the new roster a chance to have a camp and get things going before we pass judgement on players.
Young, possible 3 and D point guard with 6'5 height and wingspan. Good rebounder for a guard also. He had a shoulder injury previously and other things going on but looked like he improved to finish the season in August from his splits. Milwakee was deep too so it might be good to have a better opportunity for minutes here.
He is a pretty good athletic defender. There seems to be a effort to get more athletic this offseason
sounds like a young patrick beverley? how does he compare to pat in defense? has anybody watched him thoroughly?
Not an in your face cloyingly tight defender like Bev, uses his IQ, length and strength more to cut off angles and steer his man. But just as persistent and more technically sound.
sounds good enough to me. pat was just a corner three point shooting, good rebounding, hustle guy too at first. hopefully he can improve his 3 pointer while he is here.
Brown shot 44% from 3 in college. I'm thinking Brown wasn't maximized with Bucks. Harden and Russ (or Ben) will weaponize him with Rockets.
Good signing. Strong frame, long arms, capable shooter. Plus defender and great rebounder, both of which we can always use. He was splitting time with like 7 wings in Milwaukee so his numbers aren't really too indicative of his ability. But the fact that he's only 25 and has played a lot of meaningful minutes on a top team is the most promising part. Don't know if he has much growth left in him, but I can see him having a boost in production, not unlike McLemore/Rivers/J.Green when they came here...but that of course depends on whether Harden/Russ stay.
