I agree with this post except the last part. Morey did play basketball growing up, most people in the industry have played basketball. If you are talking about as a professional NBA bball player I don't understand why that should be a factor. Only thing that gives you is "cache" from NBA players and that really has nothing to do with making bball decisions. Elton Brand and Michael Jordan were both extremely good bball players, Pat Riley was a scrub in the NBA (7 ppg average) and Ujiri didn't even play in the NBA. There is no correlation.
What's the point of mking the playoffs if you don't have a chance of competing for a ring? This kind of mentality is the reason why the Rox's cupboard was so bare after they traded for Harden. Instead of tanking for picks pre Harden like any other franchise we were hellbent on making the playoffs and getting the 15th pick every year. It's just dumb.
We'll get neither. I'll be stunned if either of them choose the Rockets. We couldn't get good role players to sign back when we had a future.
yea even me, Mr. Optimism, can’t see both coming what so ever. If that happens Stone has already surpassed Morey.
They both liked the picture of Ibaka and Durant's brother says that Ibaka is going to Brooklyn. Conspiracy theory: Russ, James to BKN to form the new OKC Thunder NYC edition. trade is legal despite what it says, Tucker fits into the TPE. Take away one pick, I hit the wrong year. Tilman saves money (A LOT OF MONEY) and stays competitive while getting significantly younger. https://tradenba.com/trades/hESeDdsG-
